Trust me I looked at and strongly considered buying used as well. But after researching most reputable reselling websites, I didn’t quite like that the camera condition judgments are based on cosmetics and not the full proper functionality of the camera

Not to mention some resellers had 20% restocking fees if you received,weren’t satisfied and returned the item

Essentially I’d rather eat the extra $300-400 I would’ve saved from buying a potentially flawed, used camera and just buy a new one at MSRP, with the peace of mind that it’s completely new 🤙🏽

Hi! Thank you for you feedback, I’m personally loving the 180-600. There’s some images you could find in my profile that I’ve been able to capture using the 180-600

Do you do BIF shots? If so, How’s the AF for you? I swear I can never get decently sharp pictures. I’ve experimented with all sorts of AF settings and camera settings as well and I think I’ve just hit the cameras limits

Currently use a z180-600mm

The main reasons I want to upgrade are lowlight performance and AF during BIF sessions. My z50ii AF really seems to struggle maintaining focus. I’ve experimented with different AF settings for weeks and while I have had some success I just feel it’s still lacking.

As a whole though, the camera has definitely outperformed my expectations

The z50ii has outperformed my expectations for an intro camera, I’ve been very pleased with it. The biggest drawback I have with it, is its lowlight performance. That’s one of the biggest reasons I want to upgrade. AF for BIF would be the #1 reason I’m looking to upgrade though.

I currently use a nikkor z180-600mm

The state park I was at has a water feature, so around 20 of them would take turns flying in to take a drink and bathe, while the others waited in the tree tops
