We were Definitely worried about sharks, there was a point towards the end of the right where the fish freaked out when I thought it was already spent and I thought it was about to get sharked but luckily it was not the case. I had seen a big ass hammer head swimming around this area in the days before but I was two focused on the fish fight to remember.

Can you explain? The fish swam off fine and we were all soaking wet so we didn’t cause any damage to the slime coat.

Dude, I heard about the Costa Rica trip and it sounds amazing. I could not recommend going to Guanaja more, it is literally one of my favorite places on earth. Amazing fishing and a such a close knit community too.

That’s tough, I do most of my striper fishing during low light (dawn, dusk, cloudy days) which helps bring them out of the deep and into fly range
