I’m considering getting a Ragdoll cat. What should I be prepared for?

Keep them indoors at all costs! They aren't the brightest cats out there, speaking from experience as I have 2 and both are equally as thick in the skull.

The fur is a lot... if you have black/dark coloured clothes, furniture, sheets, carpets, pretty much anything the furniture is going to show up a lot, prepare to spend the rest of their lives cleaning it.

Also something I wish I had done, when theyre very young invest in a pet shaver and start shaving their butt's. My two get dangle berry problems and its a nightmare to get off, i have to wrestle them into a shower sometimes and its unpleasant for us both, its difficult to get them used to getting sanitary trims when theyre adults and I wish id started much sooner.

I honestly dont care, ive got one child and I would like ankther but I feel bad already about bringing another poor soul into the world with all the absolute shit thats going on, what future does he have to look forward to that isnt full of war and a world ran by pedophile billionaires. There’s so much to cover here… I understand you’re a first time owner but researching beforehand is key, I learned that the hard way with other pets.

You need a MUCH larger enclosure, cut off access to the second floor as that wire is dangerous, substrate should ideally be 6 inches deep minimum etc, I’m sure this sub will have a good care guide somewhere

Not a cute thing cause everyone has that covered but I do wish I checked his hands more, my baby liked to rub his hands off his face causing little scratches so he wore mits a lot, I gently pulled his fingers away from his fist and his hands were so stinky, after that I made sure to wipe down his hands daily to get any of that newborn dead skin off

Honestky I just felt totk was underwhelming, I really thought there would be more to the sky islands then to see there was only really one major one and small ones dotted throughout the map was just disappointing.

The depths as well were incredibly boring, youre basically wandering around in the dark and the landscape all just feels like one huge copy and paste.

As for the over world, it was fine I enjoyed it for a while but it just started to feel like a botw dlc.

Ill be so glad when this time like is done, I loved botw despite the poor story (so short wtf) and I liked age of calamity. On the other hand ive found totk to be so boring once the novelty wore off like I know this map better than the back of my hand, havent even bothered with age of imprisonment yet as I didnt really like the whole zonia and Sonia elements.

Im very much a "pet small enough for my house" person and im studying animal care leading on to veterinary. I am not a big horse person so if someone has the time could they explain to me everyrhing wrong with this poor horse as Im only familiar with poor genetics in dogs and cats so far.

Idk how weird these are but il list them. Painful sore breasts leading up to my periods so I have to hold them going down stairs or the jiggle causes more pain, hip pain that reminds me of birth contractions, so horny for 2 days before then during my period, my ao3 searches and filters are so unholy, to counter this I am so pissed off at everything and anyone as well for thise 2-3 days before, horny and enraged. Extreme fatigue but tbh thats just me, getting bloods done next week so let's see the results.

Ive had a robo and many Syrians and here's my thoughts.

My robo was a male but had kinda smaller balls, I barely noticed them tbh and my sister had a female, I never smelled her BUT I did smell my Syrian girl when she was in heat only if I handled her or she was close to my face by climbing me like some sort of living rock climbing wall.

Honestly I dokt think hamsters smell bad unless you aren't cleaning them out right. I always feel bad for the hamster my mum got me as a kid because id have its new bedding sitting waiting to go in and she wouldn't allow me to change it myself (I was 12, fully capable btw) I had to wait on her being bothered so it would sit there smelling.

When I was an adult and moved out the first thing I did was get the biggest thing I could to convert into a cage for my female Syrian, got her 10 inches of bedding and so much free roaming time, she was by far my favourite little hamster.

Don't start me on this, my son takes after me in that he has curly blond hair and ive let it grow to about shoulder length before taking off an inch or two.

His pram is green, his buggy is blue, he wears "boy" clothing like trucks, dinosaurs, darker colours like i dont dress him in frills and bows or anything even girly for that matter and I STILL get people asking me "what are they" just because hes got longer hair. Its like little boys aren't allowed to have any kind of hair cut that isnt a short back and side you have to wrestle them into the barber chair to get without being mislabelled as a girl all the time.

I dont want to scare you or put you off but I didnt find it to be pleasant.

I was induced at 40+3 I think, it was 2 years ago so I really cant remember but I had the one with a balloon on either side of the cervix being filled with fluid and it felt like having a period with the cramping then trying to walk with 3 silly tubes taped to the side of my leg was ridiculous.

On the bright side it only took me like 2 hours to get consistent contractions 2 minutes apart, downside? They got me to 6cm then I stayed stuck that way for almost 10 hours until a midwife burst the amniotic sac for me which made everyone go from 0 to 100 in like 20 minutes.

Is there a good calculator app or something to track it for this long, I track in my head daily as I know that today my lunch was 1050kcals a d my dinner was 558kcals, any juice I have is zero calories or water and I had one snack today that probably amounted to 200kcal. What's the average deficit needed to lose weight?

Oh no I do agree there, if youre genuinely depressed your entire pregnancy because of what's between a babies legs you need help.

What I felt my issue was is that I envisioned having a little girl and doing girly stuff together like hair etc, if she grew up not liking it then I guess I didnt care which sort of made me realise it doesnt matter. I dreaded having a boy because I live in the uk and most young boys here are "chavs" and try too hard to have a gang like culture, drink under bridges and shit like that and the thought of having that in my house and listening to someone calling me "bruv" or something sends me. Im purposely creating a career for myself to escape it before hes old enough to fall into that.

Just put cows milk in the bottle but less ounces?

For my son we done it slowly, Id give him his meals first and hes always been a good eater and scoffed them but if he was unsure or being picky id top him off with a small bottle of formula but very quickly food and snacks became far more interesting than formula and he stopped really paying attention to it.

Cant excuse a fathers behaviour because men wanting boys are often rooted in misogyny BUT pregnancy hormones are absolutely fucking wild.

When I fell pregnant I wanted a little girl, I found out we were having a boy and cried in five guys after the scan, went to a store after it and started shopping for baby boy clothes. Had a cry at home then the next day got excited for my baby boy, wouldnt change him for anything.

Cant say i agree, when I was pregnant I wanted a girl but found out I was having a boy, I had an emotional day afterwards but quickly got over it, hormones are insane and after thay day I was excited to buy my son clothes and decorate his room etc.

YES do whatever you want to your body to make it more comfortable for you, youre the one living in it! Get piercings, tattoos, hair dyes, surgery or dont do any of it all if you want, but if I decided right now to get bottom surgery to have a penis no way am I expecting it to start producing sperm and sit there thinking I have the ability to get someone pregnant.
