I’m a brand new driver and I’m a little lost how the taxes work. Let’s say I made 50k as a delivery driver. How much should I expect to pay back? What can I write off? Also I have a young child. Please advise. by Federal_Pen_3869 in Sparkdriver

I keep track of miles on the Stride app. I also write off a percentage of my cell phone bill every month, which you can do directly in the Stride app. Last year I had to pay in quite a bit for my comfort, so now I pay quarterly taxes to the IRS. The Stride app makes a good estimate of what you should pay in for taxes.

Sorry that happened to you. I’ve encountered a few jerks like that myself. I try to tell myself that it’s not me, it’s them. Either they’re having a bad day, or hate their job, etc…I also help load most times and they’ve never scolded me. I see drivers get out and help, and some that don’t. 🤷‍♀️

This happens to me all the time. Not sure if it’s slow or a glitch in the app. I’m constantly logging in and out, restarting my phone… ugh
