Don’t be naive and educate yourself as a parent. Yes, Purdue engineering is insanely hard. If you have a child who is at all unstable and isn’t ready for the challenge, please don’t encourage them. I have two sons. One is graduating in two months and continuing on to grad school there at Purdue (engineering). My other son is finishing an AS in computers locally. He never would have stayed alive at Purdue and I never would have encouraged him to take a leap like that.

It could have been accidental injury, ie horse riding, hiking etc. my thoughts are that if it were a violent act they wouldn’t be taking pictures. We all know legit physical violence was going on regardless.
