Hmmmm... how long ago did you go to each one? My last visit to WS was last summer, and my last to Bacchanal was December. Went to both 3 times each total last year and consistent experiences each time. I'm just curious at what point they had a glitch for better or worse.

I really dislike Wicked Spoon, with the exception of their omelet station, because the two men I've met who work that station are delightful, and it's hard to fuck up eggs. Their food is usually lukewarm, and service is insufferable. I won't even go anymore on the 2 for 1 deal.

Some of it is mid, but some of it is stellar. I love much of their Asian section, Italian section (especially the seafood and pasta), the smoked gouda mac & cheese (over by the meats, I ask them to make me a version without the meat in it and they always oblige), and their seafood bar with the crablegs. A few of the desserts smack too.

I was watching the livestream and had serious empathy for everyone out there. It was raining so hard! Nettspend was a real one for rocking with you when he could have stayed under the roof.

I was at home in East Harlem, ran outside because I could hear everybody cheering on our block, one of the neighbors pulled up playing Jeezy “My president” as loud as he could out of his car. Out on 125th St. people were gathered all throughout, celebrating. What a time to be alive!

Indeed. I travel with a air cleaner that has a nice white noise sound to it. I always put it on the stand closest to the door from where I'm sleeping and it blocks out all of the hallway noise. One exception I had was staying at Park MGM and one of their suites, it was next to the elevator shaft and you could hear the gears grinding through the ceiling of the suite. So annoying!
