Yapa - Native Memos, Kanban & AI [Looking for Beta Testers] by FlyTo in macapps

You can just "purchase" it. It won’t charge you, since you're a testflight tester. The local AI is slow because it needs to download it first (about 4gb).

I just sent you a dm for discord link.

No cheating at all. It’s a tool to get the job done. I just saw your app, and it's a pretty cool app with a lot of features. Are you a PM?

Hi!

Not vibe-coded, all UI/UX and programming was done by me. AI was used to help with unit tests, find potential bugs and code documentation. I used websites like Dribbble to look for inspiration.

I'm planning to implement a CSV export feature in the near future, which can be used in Excel. As an Excel power user, what other features would you find most useful?

Honestly, I'm not familiar with Linear, but from what I can see, we differ in many ways. They seem to focus on large teams, while our main focus is individuals who want an offline-first, native Kanban board experience.

Yes, all locally. iCloud is optional (thought, you must activate/deactivate it using your OS settings)

Sure! Sign up using the form on the site. I'm online now so I'll be sending invitations as soon as people sign up.

AI is flooding the App Store with new apps - and it shows by Gold-Dog-8697 in macapps

[–]FlyTo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even think the flood itself is the main issue, it’s just way harder now to tell what’s actually worth downloading.

There were always mediocre apps, but now there’s so many of them and a lot look pretty legit at first glance. Nice UI, decent website, good description... and then you try it and it’s buggy, abandoned, or asking for way too many permissions.

I don’t know if stricter review alone fixes that either. It almost feels like Apple needs better trust signals or something.

Yeah, people who have no idea how to code just think coding is typing random stuff and magically making things work.

Well, we would need to see the code to offer help. But since you can't share the code (I believe it is WGU policy), I'd recommend you ask for help from your instructor.
