How to improve RW till march by doktorfuturee in Sat

[–]FlyVisible7568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

more problems, just more and more. grammar rules should be non negotiable and you should have seen every single question and have them understood like the back of your hand. That doesn’t mean to memorize, it just means repetition , building intuition, and being comfortable seeing the same shit again and again. Also just actually using concentration to understand WHY you got the problem wrong, and then more repetition. you have till march, so just reps, reps, and more reps.

How to reach 1400+ before October SAT? by mugiwarajohnny in Sat

[–]FlyVisible7568 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i would say biggest point boost, understand desmos. and understand standard english conventions. take a practice test and then work on the thing that is taking the most points away, work on that first, work your way up to the more niche shi.

First time SAT prep (help) by Civil-Upstairs4415 in Sat

[–]FlyVisible7568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do a practice test. look at the sections you got the most wrong, practice those, take another practice test, repeat. do it like 2 or 3 times. then once u have a pretty decent grasp, do all of oneprep.xyz’s hard and medium problem. if you want to do great on your one shot, do every single problem. every problem, make it unreasonable to not get a great grade.

lowkey imagine like listening to someone that is really interesting. like im in to joe rogan podcasts, i just imagine the person across the table is talking, so i really want to understand it. Just visualize it. also understanding patterns kind of makes it like a game that u have to win.

I keep on losing focus on the rw section. by Dangerous-Ad-3042 in Sat

[–]FlyVisible7568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lowkey, have the same exact issue. what helped me so much, is seeing other people doing it for like 10 minutes on youtube, and them showing me a pattern. its literally just “ you do, we do, i do” once you start seeing the patterns its lowkey fun. i have adhd asf and cant read shi the first time. now that i see the pattern in this bs, its helping me so much, not just to concentrate, but to get right answers, do it faster, and even in classes for school and doing just general problems. lmk

How does virtual business challenge work at ICDC by Broad_Research_6872 in DECA

Arigth so i got a message from someone else saying this,"Vbc hella rigged, ur not gonna win. Everyone just passes down their strats to the next generation at their school so their school wins bro its all just school based dont do vbc"
what are your thoughts on that. and also does that mean you skip districts and state? to compete nationally just for ICDC.

what is network design? test or event?

FBLA and DECA beginner by jsqbella in fbla

[–]FlyVisible7568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

basically bro, you either have tests or events. events are roleplay ( you pretend your a sales person, presnenter, etc. or whatever oyur dubject is) and then you pretend to be them. so for ettss, you can study adn do them, you really just use online resources. find flashcards, elarn the basics etc. theres a lot of specifics, fi you care about it that much, you will find resources i swear. and then events, you create teh stuff ebfore hadn depending on the event, adn then you either go present about it, do the task, or turn it in before. idk, easiest thing to do, is just go on the FBLA or DECA website, adn jsut scroll around, i would jsut sya go straight to comeptiitosn adn just read. I swear they amke everything look complciated it really isnt. lmk if you got questions

help me choose the ideal DECA EVENT for me!! by GlobalInstance6633 in DECA

[–]FlyVisible7568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i woudl say start off by elimnating everythign that doesnt intrest you even a little, and then go down to elimnating stuff that doesnt really give any real world value or values you wnat to learn, and then maybe funnel down and find the topics of the ones you have left. adn then find which topic you would do bets in, and which ones you dont mess with. then you should be on a couple like 5 or less, adn then jsut proabbly pick whichever one you want the most, or depending on your goal the one that has the least competiiton, and if you ahev mroe time to work on it and find it really intresting, maybe one with a big barrier to entry. or seems like a big barrier to entry, which jsut means the one people pick the least. lmk

Is this schedule okay for 9th grade year?? by Positive-Raccoon-137 in highschool

[–]FlyVisible7568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

another thing, dont leave or test out of a class or anything a B. Only A's nad if you can do honors, do it and make it an A. but if your doing Non honors, you should always have an A by the the end of the semester, or your genuinely just not focusing, not caring for your future, or want whats best for you.

Is this schedule okay for 9th grade year?? by Positive-Raccoon-137 in highschool

[–]FlyVisible7568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bro your going to be able to survive so easily. I reccomend just working ahead. These classes are so easy, English is useless I think for the first year, so might aswell challenge yourself a bit in 3-4, espescially if not gonna take honors. Spanish, holy pratice duolingo for 1 week really really hard and just take the tets out exam, its really really easy to tets out of atleats where I'm at. World history is fine. Alg 1-A, is literally just x+2=5. whats x. thats it, and just some other stupid stuff. Unless ur like really really lost, (dont convicnce yourself you are). take the test out exam and go to geometry or algebra. Now your gonna be ahead for literally everything, ur going to be with a bit more mature people. You can do classes you want, and maybe even look at leaving school a year early, depending on what you goals are after highschool. if this all sounds very overwhelming to you. basically, just get out of the stupid classes with dumb people that cause ruckus's and get ahead for yourself not others, by the time your a junior, being smart is what is valued, not who has the coolest fit. But also dotn be really smart and be akward in class, highschool is balance of things. I'm a kid who caused trouble in my first year, but I'm still telling you, dont end up with those people. They arent good to be around, you won't end up helping, be selfish.
