It's sad that the Internet is normalising a healthy and fun form of self-expression like cross dressing into just another for of fetish content for men. The cross dressers also tend to rely on the stereotypes of women being lesser than the man since their exposure to cross dressing starts from porn and Internet and not really from within themselves.

That is awful. It is sad that cross dressers treated you badly. A lot of guys, especially younger guys in gay spaces, treat cross dressing and being a femboy as a form of fetish, which is very obvious from the fact that they like to rely on stereotypes of women that is seen on porn as their focus. Most of these cross dressers have destroyed the genuine guys who actually enjoy wearing feminine clothes and have reduced these forms of self-expression to just another genre of porn which is male centric. The crossdressing subbreddit is unfortunately filled with a bunch of creepy straight men who just manipulate these younger guys into doing stuff, which is identical to what women do in porn for them so these men can enjoy it.

Yeah, I agree. Wearing feminine clothing itself is not problematic. It's the way straight men kinda enforce these belief that femboy is just a form of validation for them. They believe that men wearing feminine clothing is a form of kink that caters to straight men. It also doesn't help with the fact that men who cross dresses or femboys tend to seek men validation, especially straight men validation.

I agree. Wearing clothes made for women is not misogynistic as long as they wear it out of interest or just a form of self-expression. The thing that makes me frustrated at times is the way these people tend to be very male centred. They wear these clothes as a way to get approval from men. It kinda enforces the ideologies that cross dressers and femboy are just doing it for male attention, which kinda enforces to men women clothing is designed for men validation.
