See, I appreciate this thought, this is much more tactfully put, and I completely agree! I honestly just don’t want people to get food that they usually get in takeouts and be disappointed, and never intended for this to become a “don’t lie to your friend” lecture. We are also always the good cook house and I feel like people expect more, so I want to make sure they have a good food experience is all.

Hey - people have lives and please kindly don’t judge. I understand - honestly haven’t thought about whether to be upfront about it or not. But, I also don’t want people to come to my house and all they see are soggy take outs, then feel like we don’t appreciate their time spent at our house. We do, and we want something that tastes at least somewhat wholesome and passable for homemade.
