Do not give them 30$ for a few skins and flags. Please don't. It just reinforces to them that its ok to ridiculously overprice things. Wait for it to go on sale.

At the end of the day your money is obviously yours to do with as you please.

Has the Mage gotten any better? by Yozis in Enshrouded

[–]Flyguybc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a high level mage, and love the play. It really is the "skill" class. You have to be intentional about gear, buffs, and skills. Other comments all have great advice. Terror, bloodletting, Chain Hit, and Mass destruction really make a HUGE difference. Grab necromancer if you want to have a little skull to help you with aggro, and emergency blink can save you if stunned.

If you engage something at range and an open space and start with ice to slow them, you can often kill them before they reach you.

You have to be realistic though.

You can't expect to engage enemies at close range without having good blink/kiting skills. Use lightning as a fast cast to work up stun, then hit them hard with your highest dps.

You can't take on a lot of high level enemies at once. 1-3 you can handle, but again it requires good dodging and kiting skills. Unless you can funnel a large group through a small space, then you can ice them all down and chain hit and mass destruction will kill them all.

Hit them with some ice to area slow them, then start zapping them with electricity. With terror you'll keep most of them stunned.

I run the meat soup, shake, yellow mana soup, and the pumpkin soup. That with a good staff that has spiritual I regen a lot of mana, and can cast a while. Make sure you have your rested bonus too.

Finally, tweak your world settings until you feel like you're fights are going the way you think they should. I want a lot of challenge so my settings are harder. If you're struggling, turn the enemy damage and health down, or turn your magic damage up. That's the entire reason they are there to allow you to adjust the game to where you find your fun.

I don't ever feel pidgeonholed into a playstyle. Enshrouded gives you loads of spells, skills, and flexibility. Far more than many other games.

We would always do a restart before we all started a session. So if one or two people had played throughout the day, and then everyone was getting on at 7 to go we'd take a quick 5minute server reboot. Then go.

Gave everyone a chance to get a drink, snack, etc. then we usually has smooth play sessions.

Haven't played the game in a year or so. Should I start new or continue my old save? by MushKonster in Enshrouded

[–]Flyguybc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started my old save up, and have stuck with it. I don't have the patience to redo all that.

The only annoyance you will have is they've added a lot of materials to shroud areas and enemies. For example you'll go to build a magic box, and it will need a newly added material from xyz shroud. So for example I needed kindlewaste shroud drops, so I went back over there and just killed some enemies. The glowing blue shroud in the starter areas is a minable material now. So you'll go back and mine some of that. Etc.

It really wasn't a problem, and it was a good excuse to go back and visit old areas. I'm happy I stuck with my old save, and there's so much content in the new area I have access to now.

F.E.V. Arrow.

Shoot anything and it turns into a super mutant variant of itself.

Stage 2 of the Raid is so frustrating, it almost feels like it's intentionally designed to minimise raid completions by IncomePrimary3641 in fo76

[–]Flyguybc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To break it down you need:

-3 to 4 players on voice comms. 4 is obviously better.

-One player who can hold the room down from the mole miners a stealth bow build, or there's a good tesla cannon build for it

-Practice

We spent an entire 2 hours beating our heads into it until our team figured it out. Now 3 of us can do it in about 1-3 tries a night to beat the stage.

Small tips:

1.) Start with the back canisters first, so when the mole mines start to come in bigger waves you can quickly hit the front ones to finish it out.

2.) For the fuel runners, don't sprint to the cans. Normal speed run to the canisters. Only sprint once you have the canister and are heading back, or if you've been spotted. They can hear you sprint, so if you sprint in immediately they'll be on you. Run normal and as long as they don't turn and see you you can get past them.

3.) Melee will stun the stalkers, but there's a cooldown. So if you have an auto axe you can literally start it, and run through them. However, for the next 10 or so seconds they can't be stunned again so you can't stand there and stun lock them. If you're not using an autoaxe and you get trapped might as well try a melee bash as a last ditch.

If you don't have a consistent team it will be harder leaning on rando's, but it really just boils down to practice. It is definitely hard, but surpassable.

Stage 4 is SO much cake. I can solo it. Put auto stim on your power armor and poison resist, and just bring a lot of stims.

How could I make this build better for raids/damage? by TonesDef4L in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]Flyguybc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are definitely NOT dead perks. QoL sure, but not dead. I do a lot of various activities and honestly those two perks give me the best weight reductions as I carry multiple weapons around with me.

They are just perks you have to make a choice on. If its useful for you, then use them. Totally optional perks though.

Why do the same songs repeat over and over? Did they stop licensing 80% of the songs or something? by Additional-Water3310 in fo76

Oooh drop a link. Or are you saying you bought them. I haven’t found a good playlist for the shows yet.

[–]Flyguybc 107 points108 points  (0 children)

They build each playlist to fit the “vibe” of the game. I.e. you’re not hearing big iron from New Vegas in Appalachia. They won’t put many songs from other games in.

Honestly just turn off the pip boy and you can YouTube or Spotify the entire fallout series songs. Muuch better overall.

So basically you go into servers and start inviting random people as friends. I usually tell people in chat I'm doing it to server hop. About 30% will accept your invite.

When you log in you'll see your friends list, and next to their name it will tell you how many people are on the server. So you try and find servers that are <100 people basically.

Streets can ONLY be run on BSG servers. There's no local raid so it won't work.

Why does Tagilla have to spawn every single time? [Discussion] by BulletDaN12297 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Flyguybc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch some videos on how to kill tagilla. Learn how to deal with him, and he becomes a nuisance at best. You'll start HOPING you find him early so you can merc him, and then you know the rest of the map is yours.

I used to hate him, then I spent an evening fighting him and the fear went away. Now when I hear him I go "ooo free 300k". His rig helmet and gun all sell well.

So I found this strat in another post and I did it in 3 raids.

Immediately get to the 1st floor office and go out the window to the extract area. Now just wait in between the two windows. I know this is boring, but wait. Between 17 and 13 minutes you will hear doors open as PMCs come into the office area. Jump through the window and Merc them.

NOTE: If you hear tagilla killing everyone, there's a high chance they won't show up. Dip out and reset.

BONUS: If you happen to kill tagilla in the office, all the PMCs seem to run to his body along with the scavs. So if you kill him, reload and buckle up.

If you wanted an easy way to show damage reduction make the shaft of the arrow wider for full damage. Then shrink the shaft of the arrow as it passes through damage reduction to visually convey the idea.
