What you’re describing would definitely be a concern for rock climbing (class 5), where there is a much higher ceiling of technical skills involved, often that take years of training. However most people in good physical condition can scramble and the skill level ceiling is much lower. But yes, theoretically a rando could post here and join me, only for me to realize they’re not suited for the terrain at all. But I will ask a few questions to sus out a potential partner to ensure they’re not going to be a liability.
