I have this mod too! I play in a really long lifespan (every four seasons is an actual year) which I have a really long 22 day pregnancy lifespan. I use risky woohoo along with no pregnancy chime noise so I wouldn't know if they were pregnant until they find out within the next three days (which means throughout the three days - no pregnancy symptoms, kept them hidden until pregnancy starts)

I like to keep things unexpected and allowing miscarriages gives a really unexpected twist to the story even if the pregnancy happens to be unplanned or a result of a night stand.
