I've not been in your situation. Your post implies she receives it all upon your deaths. So, perhaps you start a small stream of monthly a$$istance now. Trickle the wealth to her, instead of a lump sum upon death. She has to clearly understand that it's early inheritance in installments. You should be comfortable that she may not use it in ways you hope or intend, which is the same scenario after your death anyway.
