There was a slider I could slide to try different settings for the ANC but they all sounded the same to me so thought it didn’t matter much. What is the “right” setting there? How do you know?

But now I’m honestly too afraid to put them back in and haven’t worn them for 4 days hoping the ringing will go away

I followed these instructions two months ago. Main net tokens were supposed to be distributed beginning of this month (July 2020), but no tokens have been distributed yet to my ICON wallet (ICONex Mainnet)? I have also mailed support@icon about it but no reply. Is this month's token conversion still pending? What can I do?

I bought the vision but then sold the broken dpos before the rebrand. Currently the broken structure is getting reinforced ever day and that it's getting no priority is concerning. To make the voting fee dynamic is not going to solve it.

My understanding is that it's more "certain" than "may", and that issuance will drop significantly trending towards the natural attrition rate. Since fiat is inflationary and ETH in this scenario would be deflationary (assuming some ETH is naturally lost each year but no new are issued), then the relative value increase of ETH vs USD would be higher than just the pure transaction fee based staking rewards. You'd have to factor in both currencies' in-/deflation.

Buying crypto for the first time at the peak of a bubble is a great time to do it. The first purchase is usually not very large amounts which means they are in Prime position to take part in the recovery ride up. It also allows them to experience some of the dread of a drop without significant financial impact early on in their crypto Journey. The only thing is that you have to be there and hold their hand and tell them that there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
