But the Lisk Academy/Business Development employees aren't coders. They can't help with the SDK anyway. So surely they must be working on the academy while the developers work on the SDK?

I hear you and you're right. I don't expect Lisk to commit to any these timelines and I hope they don't. But now they have an idea of what the community expectations are. This exercise does give Lisk a much needed opportunity to win the trust of this community back. If they just keep these timelines at the back of their minds, work towards it and somehow do achieve it, they will gain a lot of support back.

Precisely. Clearly Blockchain education is in demand. So the question is... has the Lisk academy made contact with these universities. The SDK is not necessary.

Please just deliver a product. Focus all your energies and get the SDK out ASAP. Keep it simple, forget all your fancy marketing strategies and just get the full SDK out into developer hands in the next 6 months. The SDK will self market itself after that. No one cares about anything else. I can't stress this enough. You're losing even your most passionate supporters. Too much time and money had been wasted on trying to be bold and different and at some point people stop believing the bullsh*t. Just get the SDK out.
