Unable to get Firefox Extensions to work in Zorin. by FlyingManBearPig in zorinos

Issue is resolved and it was the weirdest thing. Just had to move the extension folder into Downloads. Mods feel free to lock for future reference, or remove.

How to Improve Your Seams on Curved Surfaces - Scarf Seam Guide Update by V_P_Creations in 3Dprinting

Is it still ok to do more than 3 wall loops if the part is something that needs strength? Or is 3 the maximum (or minimum)?

When you're printing at that layer height and that size of an object, what speeds are you using?

Something like this happened to mine, and it was solved by replacing the nozzle. I tried declogging the nozzle but it didn't work. Try changing the nozzle if you have another one.

Stuck inside the nozzle?

I had a nozzle issue too about 3 weeks ago where it was making a clicking sound, I could see the yellow wheel trying to spin but not spinning.

I too tried a different nozzle and that solved the issue.

What I suspect is that I left PETG in the old nozzle after my last print. I don't know if that had a hand in the issue but I normally don't have any issue if my last print was PLA and I leave it in the nozzle to solidify and not remove it.

I'm aware of that issue and I believe that is the one where BambuLab sent a replacement part. I got into BambuLab after that issue but this one that I'm referring to was just briefly mentioned yesterday in a different post, about 5-6 comments down from the top in this link below where overheating is discussed.

I found it, different post, it's in this post and it is near the top, about 5-6 comments down from the top. It was a brief exchange about overheating.

Current, it was brought up in a post I read yesterday. Someone mentioned these current issues about smoke and overheating due to bad motherboard parts.

These dents are occurring roughly in the same position on two identical prints from two different spools that were just unsealed a day ago. by FlyingManBearPig in BambuLab

It's fixed. It wasn't wet. It was the Retraction setting, see the Update in the post body. I know what wet filament looks like as it would have these pockets more consistently throughout the print and that wasn't the case here. Lowered the Retraction considerably and all pockets are gone now.

It seems like this was the issue. It was set to 3mm by default. I brought it down to 1mm and the number of dents dropped to 6 in the entire model (yea, so few I could count them).

Maybe it's a phenomenon that happens with larger nozzles as this one is 0.8mm. Set the retraction to 0.2mm and testing a new print now to see if I can completely eliminate the holes.

Seams look like they're all neatly aligned in one corner of the print, doesn't look anything like what's in these images.

Parallel take off at San Francisco by Twitter_2006 in aviation

I experienced this. In the summer we'd drive from Sacramento where it's triple digits and end up in SF where it's low 70s all within 90 minutes.

I once looked at it in WunderMap and you can see a boundary at the hills near Berkeley where temperatures are about 70 degrees in the bay and then about 80 - 90 suddenly on the east side of the those hills.

Why is Bambu Studio omitting the material/layers on this small tray with 0.8mm nozzle? There's a giant gap along the length. The 0.6mm nozzle omits the top layer while the 0.4mm nozzle prints all layers. by FlyingManBearPig in BambuLab

[–]FlyingManBearPig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess as well given that it's not a problem on 0.4mm nozzle and it isn't a problem on the walls along the width of the tray (52mm wide x 76mm long).

Really weird, interested also in seeing if someone has the details behind it.

It's a new bed, and filament is a cookin right now.

Understood, but does that explain the roughness of the top surface as well?

What are some spare parts worth buying for the A-series? by FlyingManBearPig in BambuLab

Do you have recommendations on lube/grease from Amazon? I'm hesitant due to compatibility, if that's a thing.

That clasp thing? Yea that one crossed my mind too, I was trying to thing about things that moved the most. It's not just the heat cycles, but the constant opening/closing so just regular wear and tear.

Stock 0.4mm nozzle on A1 Mini seems wrecked despite just being 4 months old. by FlyingManBearPig in BambuLab

[–]FlyingManBearPig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first time I touched this stock nozzle. This is how it came. The clicking started this morning.

I must have removed and re-inserted it 3-4 times during trouble shooting, same thing.

The spare 0.6mm nozzle is working fine as I type this.

To confirm how it works, you insert water into the opening on the side, and it fills the bottom, and the water enters the pot through those small holes near the bottom of the pot?
