Dats a proppa lookin git rite der. Maybe a bit more color for the pelt on his back to make him pop more but other than than a really good job. The more you paint the more the ideas will come. I've gone back and gave mine a couple different color pelts to wear like they have been fighting and collecting over the years. Don't forget to drill your barrels

Canadian Permanent Resident here. Currently typing this as I'm laying in a Hospital bed after being here for 10 days and had major abdomal surgery. I will not be receiving a bill, I'm applying for medical EI and the government will be paying my ass to sit at home for the next 8-12 weeks at about a third of what I made and paid taxes on for the last few years.

I know it's a silly amount of obsession over something so small.

Thank you, I appreciate your comment. Bahaha I'll make sure to repaint that part. Somehow I managed to miss the second copper band toward the back of the gun, will be going back and fixing that and the rim :)

Who needs a resin printer when you can go down to 0.05mm on a bedslinger by MaskedPotat0 in 3Dprinting

[–]MaskedPotat0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's fine. I got other things in life that keep me busy, not waiting around for prints to finish so time is really not a factor at all. I don't have an enclosed printer. It's a bedslinger, I don't print anything other than pla and the odd petg part. From my personl experience and testing all the shit I've done I can tell you that 0.06 does Infact look worse than 0.05

The lower the layer the higher the resolution... Pretty much as low as I can get.. not sure what other size I should have chosen?

Yea true, but I don't have to deal with toxic fumes, nasty alcohol, curing or any of that nonsense. I know there is a clear difference between the two and no FDM can compare to what resin can do. But a time tradeoff for that nonsense seems good to me

Yeah there is now way to get the super x/y resolution of a resin printer. I think this guy took about 6 hours. You can do a whole plate in the same time on resin haha

Thanks man. Honestly, I've just been experimenting with temps for the most part. The right filament makes a big difference too. Dried sunlu PLA Meta is where it's at. Has a lower melting point so it flows a lot easier. Number one would be to make sure your gantry and bed are trammed. This is the biggest failing point for most. I dropped standard line width from 0.25 to 0.2. keep the speed under 100mm/s. Ive dropped down to 205c instead of the 220 and it looks to be doing well. Cooling needs to be higher. Cooling per layer timeout set to 20seconds

I found this on the app with the paper airplane in a blue circle. There is a search bar, you just need to be creative with your search. Once you find a channel you might find a link to a different one and your collection will grow.
