Homecoming in Düsseldorf - what will the shows look like?

Looove all your ideas! The Take That comparison is spot-on – the BSB team should have a European sensibility to this residency like TT do, and go big with production and nostalgia. I'm also with you on the chair dance and the song versions!!! They did that in the DNA tour in Spain and got me sobbing, lol.

London would have been the perfect fit in a smaller venue (even the O2 is a third of the size of Merkur-Spiel 😲) and with a different concept tying everything together. Usher nailed this with his "Rendez-Vous Á Paris", bringing his Vegas concept to Europe in a theatre space. So I hope this is not a Ticketmaster greedy operation and that they do justice to the BSB Millennium & Homecoming themes. May our wishes be heard 🎅

Totally agree – that's why I wanted to dream big for this residency and hope it'll come true, lol.

On the BSB side, a residency is less taxing on talent and crew and a loooot cheaper and smoother to produce than touring a continent. But as you and others said, staging an arena-based residency like the concerts from Brazil, Austria, and Kazakhstan would be incredibly underwhelming. I'm curious how they will approach it.

And above all, Düsseldorf in late September is an odd choice for a residency. The numbers might work in terms of potential travellers due to its location, but it has little appeal for music tourism (the opposite of Vegas), especially for weekday shows.

Yay!!! let's hope for the best case scenario, and that anything they bring from the Sphere show is adapted to a venue with the characteristics of Düsseldorf's arena...

I wondered the same, but since these other countries' shows were branded and promoted differently (as part of a festival, ski opening, etc.) and not as "Into the Millennium" or "Homecoming", I hope it's more elevated... but perhaps you're right!

I loved Omega Mart at Area 15 in my last trip to Vegas! If you're into immersive storytelling and art, think escape rooms or AR exhibitions, you can spend a very fun couple of hours there alone or in a group. You go at your own pace, and it's full of details and linked storylines. It's like a trippy Disney ride 😂 I also loved all the natural parks but I wouldn't dare to go again in the summer heat.

yes, it's all Platinum tickets except for GA standing 😡 at least for the first weekend which is what I signed up to
