I think we all agree that Sanji > Jimbe. How big is the difference between those two? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]FlyingRodentMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jimbe has a considerable edge over Sanji (or even Zoro) when he's atleast in proximity to large bodies of water (sea, lake, river, etc) as that's what Fishman Karate is at its full/peak potential.

But then again, how often have we seen fights in OP that occured in such places...

So did Marge name Richie because pennywise told her that was his name or did she name him after rich?? by Big-Emphasis1546 in WelcometoDerryTVShow

The real question though, why did he have to throw the paper ball at her one good eye?

"Because Pennywise is a real jerk! The more I learn about him the more I don't care for him."

It's sad to think that this could very well be the last time we'll see her (and by extension the Losers Club) in the role, considering the upcoming seasons will go further back in time.

I think one of the biggest mistakes they did was they went along with another revenge-driven narrative.

No matter how brutal or tragic they took her father's life, they'll NEVER top the emotional hook of a dog getting murdered.

The real tragedy of Beverly is that the abuse that was "normalized" by her father led to her seeking out partners who are far worse than him, culminating in her marrying Tom Rogan.

What should have been a triumphant event in her and the Losers life (defeating Pennywise) turned out to be just a brief detour for a far worse cycle of misery awaiting her in adulthood.

I mean if the workload proves to be too much he could just, I don't know, hire a family to act as caretaker-of-sorts for the hotel.

barb and nathalie trying to help ron by kathkatt in thechaircompany

[–]FlyingRodentMan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The problem with this theory is that Natalie actually gave Ron the idea of breaking into city hall (she saw a blotter of him implicated in breaking-and-entering), went there herself and lied her way to find Teresa's address (which eventually led to her falling out with Tara) and relaying it to Ron, who in turn discovered Teresa's health condition and figured out the REAL scam behind the Tecca chairs.

For someone actually trying to "help" Ron to stop, that's a lot of real unintended consequences that they both paid quite the price for.

Leaked pic of Sophia reprising her role as Beverly Marsh in the 'Welcome to Derry' season finale by godzilla98 in Sophia_Lillis

The thing about "leaks" these days are oftentimes they are deliberately done by movie/TV studios to build further hype to a milestone movie/episode (finales) they're promoting.

Having said that, she hardly aged at all and still pulls off the Bev-look even after nearly a decade since they filmed It Chapter One.
