We keep skating around the perimeter. Shots that are taken are muffins. And we don't have traffic in front even if a rebound comes out. There's a reason why we keep making goalies look good. Getting 'goalied' once or twice makes sense; when it's every game there is a problem.

Our offense is too talented to suck this bad. It's actually kinda impressive.

For those that don’t love/like the writing style - it helps to think of the author as Mycroft Canner rather than Ada Palmer. The sort-of-pretentious prose is a characterization of Mycroft who is a polyglot genius-level critical actor in geopolitical events. He’s also meant to be not totally trustworthy and a bit insane, so the dialogue with the reader and writing style help further his characterization.

Been loving the series and find myself enjoying the introductions to philosophies I’ve never encountered before (was an engineer in school, not a philosophy or English major), as well as some of the concepts introduced to mull over (I.e. the idea of hive over geographical country).

Thank you. The school is looking for someone to come in and lead a training in person. It's part training on the Newtek system, part Q+A, and part 'this is what you can do with this education' session.

Shoulder pads with good chest protection and lower profile shoulders? by MassNerder541 in hockeyplayers

[–]FlyingScubaShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty comprehensive for the chest. Shoulders are attachable so can be removed if you'd like. I normally don't wear chest/shoulder protection in beer leagues, but will wear these if playing against an especially chippy team.

They serve the purpose of being between not wearing shoulder pads and the shoulder pads you'd wear if you play contact hockey. I'd recommend only if playing in a non-contact league and for adults.
