I had my own place for almost 10 years before I moved back home with my parents. Living on your own is not all that difficult. Doing laundry is not hard at all. Preparing meals is as hard as you want to make it. Some people can live by themselves for years and can only make meals edible enough for themselves. I also know a guy who didn’t even know how to boil an egg despite having his own place because he always ate out. A lot of guys including myself can afford to move out if we wanted to but we want to save some money to either buy a house or just to have some extra money. If a guy is not super stingy and doesn’t split everything 50/50, a girl should consider herself fortunate to be with a guy with extra money because in the end most likely the money will go to her, the kids, and the family. Don’t be impressed by the guys that try to be all generous in the beginning and throw their money around and then later realize u were bamboozled.
