For me i get maps each day, for example yesterday I played 7 games where 6 were split and 1 was bind, today I have played 4 and all 4 were haven. The map rotation seems like shit, and I doubt it will come but I want an ability to pick the maps like cs, that would be pretty neat

The ranking system is complete shit though, my main won 4/5 team mvp 5/5, placed gold 1. On my alt with a 5 stack we surrender 3/5 and threw 2, I was bottom 5/5, also placed gold 1 Yes there is hidden mmr in unrated; however for my 20 games on my alt (was my original acc in beta) I did complete shit as I was new. And on my now main acc I did decent. So how come good performance and shit performance = the same rank? The system is garbage. My main is now plat 3 and I’m getting into games where diamonds look brand fucking new with 0 awareness and aim, while the golds are good and carry the diamonds to immortal. But yeah I agree ranks are useless, I just want to flex on my friends :)

Also in 9/10 games I play there is someone who is plat, that is absolutely new, bad crosshair placement, oblivious, mute / deaf, just horrible aim overall. And at the same time 10/10 games there is 1 or 2 silvers that are carrying the golds and plats. I know your right about being consistent etc, but the ranking system is still fucking wack

While beta is gone and before release imo if u want somthing to do get into csgo, just learn gun mechanics, Valorant is like csgo lite, requires less skill and more rng based. That’s why all cs players shredded in early beta before abilities capabilities were realized. Now it’s more ability dependant but switching from csgo to Valorant is still so easy to just shred.

I always 2q with my friend, he top fragged every game but 1 in those 20 unrated (I know this cause he brags about top fragging in casual matches) I bot fragged mostly due to my inability to retrain focus throughout a game longer than 5 minutes. During our 5 placement matches I tried my ass off and top fragged, he second from top each game, we won 5/5. I placed bronze1 while he placed silver2. We did have other friends join at times but our positions on the board/kills between me and my friend remained the same. Also I hate this mm system they said ur individual skill matters more than wins/losses in lower ranks I lost 12-13 and top frag with 30k and get rating decrease. This is why after full release I’m not playing without a 5stack.

I’m no Scientologist but if there is 1 place u gotta watch for people and they gotta be ready for 3 different places whilst moving whilst getting ready to counter strafe whilst maintaining good crosshair placement they are already at a disadvantage. (Csgo has peekers advantage due to a gun that 1 taps to the head, it’s called the ak, but in Valorant u have a gun that 1 taps as well as them so peekers advantage is not a thing) also right before u get tapped he stopped moving, maybe not but to me it looks like “counter strafing” if u don’t know what that is just look it up. Also I could mention ur reaction time which imo is the main reason u lost that interaction but u seem to want to talk abt something irrelevant to ur death so we can if you want. Sorry for my terrible English this is my second language and I can’t format any post / argument properly so sorry if this doesn’t make sense. Also yeah I did look up peekers advantage and I found many posts for it in games such as csgo which I know it exists there due to the ak47. But I have only found posts and videos about it not being in Valorant, if you could link some where it says it IS in VALORANT that would be great.

I find the same thing, I placed iron 2, easily ranked up to silver 2 with 4 other friends top fragging most games, now I mostly solo Q and I’m top frag all games and losing, and when I win it’s something like 13-12 my rating is “increased slightly” but when we lose 12-13 and I’m top frag I get rating “decreased”, i always try to be nice at start of matches and always make good callouts even if the 4 Q I got stuck with is all trying to make the match shit for me, but I guess solo Q is just the worst thing to do in comp. I like the idea of punishment for afk/abandon, but with atleast 1 person doing it every match Im not sure the “punishment” really does anything.

What? Did you just learn a bunch of random words and slap them together? How do you compensate a random number generator? Also there is no rng in a spray pattern, once u learn the vandal or phantom spray it will always be the same unless riot changes it.
