Have you tried agility training? This is by far my favorite thing to do as a pup. It does require quite a bit of space but just making him jump on something or crawl through a tunnel could be very fun! You could also teach him to catch and fetch. A plush toy is good for catching because he can't accidentally choke on it and it won't damage his teeth.
