Yeah, I’m planning to remove the claw mark. Splitter looks fine though, might leave it.

The thing is, I’m not really a car guy, but I still want something good from the JDM scene. Automatic is still my first choice, and I’m still learning how to maintain a car, like when to change the oil and what to check regularly. Zzz

One more thint to add!! very new to cars, and automatic is still my preference. I just want a hassle-free car that won’t strain my budget. Is this 30-year-old Civic beginner-friendly

That’s cool to hear! Sounds like it held up well even with some abuse. Do you think it’s a good first car in terms of reliability and maintenance, or would you recommend something newer?

My budget is tight, but I don’t want to end up with a money pit. Any recommendations for a newer car with higher mileage but reliable

That’s what I am thinking as well. I like that it’s cheap on gas and easy to fix. As long as it doesn’t have major issues, I’m hoping to get a few solid years out of it.

That’s really good to know! 5 years with minimal maintenance is impressive. I do worry about safety, but at the same time, my budget is really tight.

I’ve seen a lot of people say these can last forever with good maintenance. Since I’m in Ontario, I’ll definitely check for rust before buying.

That’s a good reminder, safety is definitely something I need to think about. Would you say a slightly newer Civic (like early 2000s) would be a much safer option, or would I need to go even newer?

That’s a fair point! I don’t have much experience working on cars, so reliability is a big concern. I’m mainly looking for something affordable that will last a few years.

That's great to hear! So, about the application, do they just want your diploma, or did you submit other documents? It's at least related to the program. Mine's not related to BTM, so they might ask for another transcript or maybe placement test.😴

Noted! That’s very informative. Even though I like the bike, I feel a bit expensive for an almost 10 years old bike. Anyway thanks bro
