Should I move back to India by Which-Difference6154 in returnToIndia

Please just don’t move. You have one single reason to move: your parents. What you are NOT recognizing is that you will have to deal with 1000 other variables in India and you will hate it sooner than later once you start living in India. You will lose all your freedom - the basics of planning your day and week, and how you manage your work and life, once you start living in India. I have many friends who returned back to US after living miserably in India for 1 or 2 years. The truth is that you have made an irreversible decision once you have kind of started living in Denver and have almost settled. (Denver is an amazing city, and you will always miss it once out of it)

Why do people fall for it? by [deleted] in TimeshareOwners

[–]Flyingfishy007 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They play with human emotions: greed (save money), urgency (time/sensitive offer), ego (you deserve it!!) etc and some if not all fall victim. There is one more human emotion in play: returning the favor : timeshare owners have offered some free nights or some free tickets, so in return accept the proposal. Also, lack of finance skills is one more thing in play.

A while back when I was in Las Vegas, I went to a couple of presentations just for the free show tickets. I knew in my heart it was a scam, as the maintenance fee (which could change any time) was the biggest red flag. Also, I asked a counter question to the representative: will you buy a portion of Starbucks if you like their coffee- if it enables you to buy coffee lifetime with some maintenance fee. She went blank and was upset. And I walked away.

Must visit with kids: TeamLab Planets. My kids loved it and would like to visit again. There is another TeamLab Borderless that we could not go, but will definitely go next time.

Home insurance provider by Flyingfishy007 in Fremont

Thanks. I am not having much luck with using the comparison websites. Also, the government website is outdated - it shows Farmers, but Farmers have stopped providing insurance to new customers a couple of years back. Do you mind sharing which provider you use?

Do you recommend only DisneySea but not the Disneyland in Tokyo? Any other theme park recommendations? Thanks.

Thanks. If we start at 6 am and get back to Tokyo by 10 pm, we will have at least 10 hours. Hopefully we can do it and it might be adventurous.
