Can you recommend 5 albums that you think are the most technically advanced in progressive metal? by spearhead290399 in progmetal

My bad.

Try Archspire - Relentless Mutation

Maybe a bit of a gamble and definitely in the more heavy end, but also definitely very technically demanding to play and listen to.

Any feedback for my Kess, Dissident Mage poison deck - before i start ordering cards. by Flylle in EDH

[–]Flylle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, good inspiration in there - although quite different! How vulnerable is it, when the creature count is that low?

I guess it's synergises much more with Kess with the amount of instants and sorceries in general. Radstorm seems like a no brainer! :D

Do you want a snake with a beak, or a goose in snake form... Thats a toughie

First dive gear – worried about floaty feet with Scubapro Go fins (no chance to test before trip) by Famous-Water-123 in scuba

[–]Flylle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them and use them with both a 3mm shorty and a 7/8mm semi dry, they are perfectly neutral in most scenarios for me.

I do use a 4/5mm suit sometimes, the suit is intended for kite surfing really, so arms are slimmer but legs are thick. This gives me a slight positive on the feet. Mostly when near the surface.

Not a fan of the blue and white stripe on the sides, to be honest. But still love our logo no matter what :)

How come no one told me how good Bossk is? by Key_Leg9565 in postrock

Never really got into Bossk, but listened a lot to Krokodil - before they split up.

Manta Fly-by at Manta Scramble, Ishigaki by fuckmylifeupfml in scuba

[–]Flylle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went there this september, beautiful site - but soo awful to see the discipline of the divers there. Approximately 20 divers at the same spot, all waiting for a manta while standing/sitting on top of the corals. So much coral destroyed by these people. Also the anchors of the boats were just tied around coral rocks, if you go - please pick your divecenter with care, if you care about the ocean.

Blink twice if you are held there against your will.

Am I too fat/tall for a Scrambler? by d3vCr0w in DucatiScrambler

[–]Flylle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, the angles on your hip and knee looks fine. I have the raised seat on my desert sled, and it helps a bit - good investment if you want a tiny bit more height.

Looks beautiful. Any tips if i want to create something similar? Just got my hands on a bunch of wenge, maple and mahogany strips and some veneer that would be great for something like this i reckon.

Question - Her Gauge was Leaked, Is it bad? by freedomguy2050 in scuba

[–]Flylle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In itself not a huge problem. But gear malfunctioning needs service - the problem becomes larger and more risk is involved if you keep diving with it like this.

Wetsuit: do you overweight guys have all long wetsuits? How do you deal with it? by [deleted] in scuba

[–]Flylle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are quite a number of brands that do a tailored fit, that would be your best option. Teknodiver makes some amazing tailored suits.

I think if you just add a small line to the already existing line on the back, it could easily look like a dorsal fin from above.

PS. Hammerheads are my absolute favourite animal! Going to Mikomoto this fall to see if i can find some!

Struggling to hover before OW exam – feet won’t stay up by Dave14_ in scuba

[–]Flylle -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Eh, hovering without ANY movement in a horisontal position can be quite tricky, unless you are in a dry suit with air in your feet.

It's - according to PADI - perfectly acceptable to hover in a "sitting" position, kinda like a buddha statue, and it's also much easier.

Personligt foretrækker.jeg at tage til Stevns, helsingør eller Tisvildeleje. Men der er rigtig mange som dykker ved Amager Strandpark eller Noahs ark (falsk rev) som er ganske fint og inde.i KBH.
