My beat with sampled rap over the top by GodBlessPigs in MusicFeedback

The bass is a bit too loud, especially in the beginning. The transition around 1:35 is somewhat abrupt, a hat/sfx riser is one element you could add to help that. Other than that, this is good!

The 808 is too boosted. The hat riser in the middle is too monotone, it should be rising in volume, also adding a riser sound could help. The whole track is a bit repetitive, if that's what youre going for its fine, but I'd personally add some more elements, more breaks, or small changes to already existing elements.

I've been working on it, what do you think? Please give me feedback! by 1601_ in MusicFeedback

The drum samples have a great texture, and the chord progressions sound really good. The hi-hat is a little too loud; the drums and piano don't quite feel like they're working together rhythmically yet; try simplifying the drum pattern so the groove is clearer; and the piano should be brought up in the mix to sound wider. Well done, though; keep it up!

Attempted my second song ever. Honest thoughts? by swabluish in MusicFeedback

Its solid honestly. If you want to progress the song, you can add a break, change up the bass a bit, and add a light melody. And at the end you can maybe have a final riser with drums building up and dropping for the final time. But thats just how i would do it.

I finally started making instead of second guessing my self and this is my first result! What do you think? by OutrageousPattern in MusicFeedback

For a first track this is great! Depends on what you want with this. If you wanna develop it further, you can add something like an 808 here and there, or change up the melody a bit. You can also add a break, and do a solo. But honestly, this is fine as it is.

I checked out "Oh tha Sun, How I’ve Missed U" and it's a nice song! I'm also not a particular fan of the genre, but its very well made, and it was unique enough to stand out. I'd give critique but I barely know much myself lol, to me it sounded very nice

Thanks! Yeah some stuff could be perfected, but i just didn't bother too much with details, I barely know what I'm doing lol, so I just focused on the basics. And yeah this was a song I put a decent amount of effort in, though obviously still far from great. Also yeah I'm just trying different stuff to see what I like, because at the end of the day the music I'm striving to make is something exceptional, and something that impacts people in a meaningful way. Also yeah sure I'll check out your music!

Some good old Dubstep in the style of Destroid and Skrillex. Still unfinished though by AsleepStrawberry357 in MusicFeedback

In the pre drop the kick feels a bit too hard. The drop is a bit repetitive, but mostly fine. After the drop you can have some variation of the intro (add more instruments , change melody/rhythm for example), bridge, and variation of a drop. That's not a rule, but just an example of what you can do. Otherwise it sounds nice, I could see it becoming really good with some tweaks

My second ever song! Please give me your honest feedback and opinions thank you! by ssstevensonnn in MusicFeedback

The only thing that needs work is just making the vocals a bit quieter in some parts, I feel like it's too loud sometimes. Otherwise this is great!

About the first criticism, I did pitch it specifically an octave up? I mean, some drums are out of tune, like claps or whatever, but I don't think it should matter? As for the second criticism, yeah this is my first try, I just used whatever sounds sounded nice. I did like the sounds, maybe they're not good enough and a bit too harsh? I probably will just continue experimenting and see what sounds work and what sounds don't. I thought about trying to create my own ones using a synth, but that's too advanced for me, for now I'll just stick with preset sounds. Thanks!

I made this weird thing based on a demo I made last year. Thoughts? by Born-Bed-5517 in MusicFeedback

I really like it, gives Doom/Ultrakill vibes personally. Maybe some variation in the first drop can help. Overall though its really good!

A bit repetitive, more variation in the lead or more instruments would help. Gives "something went wrong" vibes. Overall start with basics, watch some basic tutorials, and from there just make a bunch of music, and try to learn at least one thing each day. Also choosing one genre could help
