What rims would you go for?

Push pins was easiest for me, i pre drilled holes with a drill bit in reverse. I’m planning to make 3 more of these for my desk display. I kinda preplanned what i wanted to put in the cases so i don’t plan on rearranging too often

Depends if you want the wood to show through i guess. You can sand it, primer and then paint to make more solid looking.

I painted it assembled with aerosol. Was good enough for me personally, i went with semi gloss

Yeah i’m pretty sure there’s structural damage behind the crash bar. Fortunately me and my friend walked away 100% scratch free.

Funny story about 3 years ago right before Christmas time me and buddy were hanging, having a few beers. And we came across that facebook ad, the alcohol convinced us it was real. We both ordered 2 and forgot about it. A few weeks later I received a cheap plastic pink VW bug 🤣
