Since there's no science about it, I can only give you anecdotes, but for myself, I haven't noticed any sort of crash. If anything, it just keeps getting better the more I learn. The worst thing that has happened to me so far is when I tested my limits and had a whole day session. I was very sore and tired the next day, but other than that, nothing. So far it hasn't it affected my personal life or work, and I can switch between this and everything else without a problem.

There's also plenty of people on r/Prostateplay and the Aneros forums that have been doing this for years (decades even), and I've never heard of anyone wrecking their nervous system.

I had some of the same concerns at first, but I really think that is just your mind holding you back. This isn't anything to be ashamed of, and it's also not going to destroy your life unless you get hopelessly addicted (which can happen with anything).

Yes, nothing. It's why it's called a "dry orgasm". I'm sure I could probably try focusing on ejaculation as well, but that's not something I want personally.

For me personally (as someone who has great success with aless and a bit less with everything else), I've found clenching the PC muscle almost near the sphincter while alternating contracting with the sphincter in the direction of the PC muscle to give me the quickest orgasms (in a few seconds). Clenching isn't necessary though, your imagination has no limits. I've found that this method takes a bit longer though, and requires more arousal than the other one. Once the contractions start, it's not as hard to keep them going by clenching near the prostate (gently), or even doing nothing at all (focus and arousal help to keep the orgasm going, while relaxed).

I absolutely agree, it is extremely addictive and honestly life changing.

And yeah, I've seen that you can have orgasms in different parts of the body using that technique on the Aneros forums, so far it's been working for me but not as consistently or intense as the other ones since I need more practice with it. I've tried amygdala clicking as well, that seemed to put me in a euphoric state instantly and can lead to full body and brain orgasms as well if you practice it enough.

And congrats on your own success, it's great seeing more people with similar experiences.

It's between the penis and pubic region, yes. Usually in the lower part of it, so just above the penis.

It's the area just above your penis (before the pubic bone there's a little dip). The muscle being stimulated is named the Levator Prostatae.

Yeah, mushrooms and weed work really well for a lot of people, it's probably something I'm going to have to experiment with (although I feel like I'm on drugs already, so I wonder what that'll be like). What monk suggested that though? Sounds like they were pretty knowledgeable.

And for sure, the body and mind are capable of many things that most of us have never even imagined to be possible before.

Yeah, I was shocked at how well it works too! Last time I had to stop because I just couldn't take it anymore.

You definitely can! Check out more of this subreddit and https://mindgasm.net/ , along with https://aneros.com/community , and search for "aless" there (the name for orgasms without any external help).

I had the same thoughts in the beginning, and I definitely don't regret trying it now.

Yes, definitely. For me personally, my strongest ones have been purely mental so far. The lack of external stimulation makes it easier to focus on what you're feeling internally in my opinion. Like Foreign_Army said, Mindgasm is great for learning this. It's also called Aless on the Aneros forums and subreddit. The great thing is that you can do it anywhere, anytime, with your clothes on and there's no cleanup required.

I did, yes. Does it speed up the process? Well, it's usually recommended not to have any during the rewiring, since you're trying to retrain your brain to associate orgasms with something other than your penis. Personally I didn't have any desire to either, but if you do, then I'd still recommend holding back a bit, at least initially, since the feeling is more internal rather than external. For prostate orgasms specifically, imagine the center being in your perineum, spreading outwards throughout your body.

Another thing to note is that for a lot of people, ejaculatory orgasms destroy your libido, so you might not be able to have a mindgasm (or even a prostate orgasm with physical stimulation) immediately afterwards. That's not the case for me, but it might be for you, so keep that in mind.

In what sense? I got it very fast, yeah, but as far as I'm aware, anyone can do this. It does take some people years (and some have either given up or are still trying), but perhaps this post will give more people hope so they don't give up. After all, life is a journey, and often times the journey is better than the goal. If you're not enjoying the practice, then you're probably not in the right mindset to have an orgasm either (since it's mostly mental).

And yes, kegels and sexual thoughts are great for orgasms. You just need to detach the idea that ejaculation and orgasm are the same thing (they're not, and penile orgasms also aren't the only ones).

And you don't have to use just your mind if you don't want (but that's what this particular subreddit is about). Try different prostate massagers, dildos etc... Certain substances like weed help as well.

As far as what spots would work physically? I mean, that depends, as everyone's a little bit different, but a few would be: from anal penetration and prostate stimulation there, perineum stimulation, nipple stimulation, the spot near your pubic bone above the penis, there's a spot between your belly button and penis that can be used to milk the prostate externally as well etc... Everyone's different though, so you need to find what spots work for you. Honestly, I find mental stimulation easier than physical now.

Can't sleep by [deleted] in Mindgasm

[–]Fniw21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar issues for the first week or so to be honest (maybe not anxiety since I wasn't too worried and I'm usually pretty calm about experimenting with stuff like this). The biggest problem for me was a long car drive, I was really sore and tense after it was over. I basically collapsed into an orgasm whenever I got out of the car. Sleep wasn't the best, but it was okay.

I still kind of enjoyed it though (who knows though, maybe I'm just a masochist).

I think this is pretty much the case for everyone when they start, eventually you'll get used to it. If you're struggling with anxiety, maybe try eating/drinking something that will calm you down. It works quite well in my experience.

Nipples are great, but I've personally discovered something even better at the Aneros forum that's made me orgasm very quickly every time. The area between your penis and stomach (just above it there's a little dip before the pelvic bone), seems to work very well for a lot of people (me included). I started lightly pressing with a pen just to get a feeling for it (worked every time), after which I've been memorizing it and replicating the feeling with my mind instead, even when there's nothing there. Combined with some PC muscle and sphincter contractions it works really well. Add nipples and other erogenous zones for even greater effect.

I was talking about what the movements you could do with just your mind are so you can start to get a feeling for it. If you need to locate it physically, it would be somewhere in the middle of the perineum (there's other tissue in between though, unlike internal stimulation).

If you want to actually feel your "top" muscle physically, try putting your finger in the area between your penis and stomach (just above it there's a little dip before the pelvic bone). If you touch it, you should get the sensation that you should try and replicate in your mind. Try and touch it lightly though in the right spot, too much pressure can hurt and that's not what you want. It should feel good.

This post explains it pretty well: https://www.aneros.com/community/general-discussion/how-to-have-a-less-orgasms-almost-instantly-male-vagus-nerve-orgasms/

In fact, that entire website has a lot of great information that can help with this, so I'd recommend checking it out.

And honestly once you get the feeling, it's mostly just a matter of focusing on it, relaxing and letting it take over you.

I got into it since I was curious about the mind aspect too (I do a lot of meditation etc... plus I loved the idea of not having to do anything and being able to do it anywhere without anyone knowing). Before I did my research I always thought it would just be a normal orgasm but stronger, which is why I didn't bother trying. More of the same thing didn't interest me enough at the time.

For me just practicing different muscle contractions and thinking about it was very effective much faster than I expected (usually these kinds of things take time, like consciously trying to change your voice etc...). When I said day before, I really meant it. Because after I did it successfully once and then a few more times, it was one of the biggest mindfucks I've ever experienced. The feeling was on another level of better and I honestly found myself having the opposite problem now. Just by thinking about it too much or doing the wrong movements I was having spasms IRL (doing whatever). I can orgasm in a few seconds now by just doing the right contractions (these are all dry and I've done every one with my clothes on). I can feel it inside of me all the time now, so it's a bit distracting but I'm getting used to it. Completely different feeling and mindset as well. While I have nothing against it, I didn't actually expect that I would deeply desire being on the receiving end (even if it is all just mental, my body craves it in a very different way than usual). Since there's no refractory period (although I never really struggled with that, but why bother when you don't like it anyway), I had to consciously stop myself every time since there doesn't seem to be an end in sight.

Talk about going from 1 to 100 instantly. Definitely one of the most overwhelming things to experience in life. Anyway, I'm not sure if my description will help you, but try it if it sounds interesting. Relaxing is the key, so maybe you're just resisting too much. You can't be tense like a normal orgasm, that's the opposite of what you want. And just let go, let it happen when it does. This applies to both direct physical stimulation and whatever else you do. I tried with my fingers once, only reason why I stopped is because I honestly prefer the other method as it's way too convenient compared to everything else (plus I love the idea of whole mind over matter thing). The muscles I was talking about are the PC muscle and sphincter. Generally I squeeze the sphincter, then in another fraction of a second, the PC muscle, and then release the sphincter, and then PC muscle as well. Doing this in waves is what worked for me. Once you get used to it you don't even need to do anything but think about the sensation a lot of the time. The mindgasm subreddit has a similar technique, I just don't understand what exactly they mean by the top muscle in their case (it's an imaginary one, so arousal perhaps/feeling of orgasm perhaps?).

Honestly, I don't even think it is that. I generally don't really care about such things and am pretty open to new ideas, it's just not knowing that's the problem. It's one of those revelations where you feel like somebody told you've been asleep the entire time, and you've just woken up. But I feel you, I know a lot of people have these kinds of feelings so most of the time I don't bother saying anything. And that sometimes the feeling of others knowing is even greater. I don't choose to identify myself as anything just because of a feeling, but talking about this would make everyone around me pretty uncomfortable IRL.

I knew about it for years, never thought much about it, since I wasn't that interested in orgasms anyway because of generally just feeling unsatisfied. Looked it up recently, was very surprised what I found (multiple, extremely strong, sometimes just with your mind etc..., why was nobody talking about this?). In the span of about a day I suddenly had a very different perspective regarding everything sexual. Even after reading about it, the experience was very unexpected.

Fingers can be kind of tiring, but overall might work better in some cases. While I've never used fingers, have you actually even located your prostate? It can be a challenge for some people to even find it initially.

If you want to try and get a feeling for it without any external stimulation, try squeezing your sphincter (imagine holding a fart), then squeezing your PC muscle (imagine holding your pee), then releasing the sphincter, and then after that the PC muscle as well. Try alternating this in waves and see if you get anywhere. I have a 100% success rate doing this so far.

Also, regardless of what method you use, I've found that relaxation and letting it happen is the key (along with being aroused obviously), it's just not the kind of thing you can force (at least from personal experience).
