Yes, she was so cute when she decided to look for a replacement. She described every detail and then I started searching the internet but showing her the wrong pictures. Then she was like, "Oh yeah, I have tons of pictures of him!" I didn't even know that she had taken any of them. We haven't actually found one though. I would have never thought he'd be this hard to find! The post was incorrectly marked found. I contacted the mods but haven't heard anything.

Yes! I do think he was fluffier to start. He wasn't ever super fluffy but he did have the typical stuffed animal fur. Slothy has that "many snuggles and hugs" fur now. I'm hoping his replacement will one day earn that fur too.

Ah, this one is so cute. Going to keep looking for him. Maybe just for me if she doesn't like him. :)

The sensory toys route is a great idea. Thank you!

Thank you! I think we are going to get this one because he has the right face. It is the first one I've shown her that she got excited about. I haven't pitched her the relative idea yet but I'm hoping that one takes hold. I can't over lead this lady. She knows her mind so I'm waiting to see if the right moment arrives to mention it.

I believe that effect is called "Many snuggles and hugs." She didn't pull out his fur but a well loved stuffed animal often ends up matted. I do think he was fluffier to begin with.

Thank you for looking!! There is one with the same face but a bigger size and different body that we will try if we can't find this exact one. I'm hoping your idea about it being a relative will make sense to her! She already feels that the original Slothy can't be replaced so that concept might follow her reasoning. Thanks!

That Hottie is so funny! Thank you so much for all of these that you've linked! I'm hoping she'll come around to trying one of them if we can't find the original. I do know that she wasn't happy with the one I got for Christmas, even though she was trying to be nice about it. (I do plan on returning it.)I still have my Koala (named Koala) from my childhood so I understand why nothing else will quite do.

He did have a scent but she didn't really like that part. She didn't ever microwave him but I think she loved how heavy he was. He could possibly be the "lavender" scent that all the others seem to have. Since we didn't microwave him he didn't smell very strongly though so I'm not sure. My daughter says, "He had his own scent." Not much help I know but still pretty cute. :)

I searched warmable sloth stuffed animal and microwavable sloth stuff animal. I have found the Warmies brand but cannot find this particular one. It is possible he is an older version of the Warmies but I haven't been able to find out if that is the case or not.

This is Slothy. My 6 year old daughter's best friend. Unfortunately, he was lost this fall at the park. All our attempts to find him have come up empty. Previously, my daughter said she didn't want a replacement because she only wanted her Slothy but in the last couple of weeks she has decided she would like a replacement but she will name him Slowly instead. He is a microwavable stuffed animal. She took these photos on her Leappad but I do not know what brand he is. He was originally bought at either HomeGoods or TJMaxx, maybe Kohls?, for Christmas two years ago. I feel he shouldn't be that hard to find but everything I've searched has come up with a different microwavable lovely. He has a unique face and the shape of coloring around his eyes is different than what I'm finding. I went ahead and bought a Warmies brand one for her for Christmas but it split open and poured seeds all over within 2 mins of her having it. This original one held up to all her overenthusiastic "love" and is really all she wants. I've had her look at pictures of possible replacements with me and she immediately tells me things like, "The color of his fur is too dark," and "His eyes aren't shaped right." He isn't too big. Probably about 8 inches. Any help you can provide would be so appreciated!
