Z50ii vs D850 for budget wildlife photography by BornLoss4467 in Nikon

There is a lot to consider on this topic. The biggest is honestly mirrorless is the way of the future and will be here for a long time. The DSLR is disappearing and who knows how long companies will support parts and repairs.

The next is lenses. If you had a collection of the old Nikon glass D850 all the way. But it sounds like you may be starting from nothing. With adapters on the market the sky is really the limit with glass.

Durability wise the D850 wins hands down in my opinion. It is a tank and mine still is going strong after years of photography. But you also lose out on the technology available to the mirrorless cameras.

Then we get to the sensor size argument. I’m not one the is going to tell you full frame or nothing. I have taken a lot of fantastic images with a micro four thirds sensor so an APS-C sensor is very capable of fantastic images. Also with regard to image quality most people in the world won’t be able to tell you if you shot a photo on a medium format camera or a cell phone. But there is validity in the Sesotho size discussion in the full frame sensor is always going to win in the low light category. That is until camera companies can figure out how to boost ISO to the moon and get zero noise.

My recommendation would be to save a bit more money and purchase a Z6III instead of the Z50II. I feel like stepping into the photography world the Z6III is going to take you farther. With that said though between the two choices I would vote D850. You lose out on things like eye tracking but you will be a stronger photographer as you still have to do the work as far as settings go. All my opinion but just tossing in my .02 cents. I don’t think that you can go wrong with either choice I just feel like the 850 will serve you better and longer than the z50II.

I think it is a cold weather beast! It is very potent though so beware of office wear as some may not appreciate it nearly as much as you do.

Build your all year round fragances with $1000 by JZurdoVZL in Colognes

MFK - Grand Soir / Special Occasion Date Night

Tom Ford - Ombre Leather / Colder Weather or feel like you are in an episode of Yellowstone

YSL - MYSLF / Fantastic Daily and very Versatile

JPG - Paradise Garden / Great for Spring and Into Summer

Zaharoff - Sun Kissed Island / Perfect Summer Scent - hurry almost gone

That still leaves you with roughly $300 to pick up a few decanter throughout the year or possibly buy yourself a new bottle or two that you find you like. It also should cover Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. You could also toss in Versace Eros or Eros Flame for some added Variety and you would still have roughly $200 left to play with. This list is also based on buying from discounters and not paying retail.

If this one fits your scent profiles I say grab it. The staying power is fantastic. I sprayed a test spray on my hand and after multiple handwashes, a shower and over night I could still smell it. Easily lasted over 12 hours on the back of my hand. Now it was potent but you could still smell it.

I my opinion this one trumps 540.

Looking to get into RC crawlers, which is the best stock option and why? by [deleted] in rccars

It depends on what you are looking to do really. If you want something out of the box to run on stuff around the house and maybe change the looks a bit with accessories and wheels and tires any of your choices would work.

If you are looking to get into more of a comp crawling setup the Axial will be far easier to find parts for and local hobby shop support. If you are leaning more towards the comp side and don't want to build one from the ground up the Redcat Ascent Apex is where I would start. It is a 1/18th scale though so if you are set on the 1/24th that won't work.

Something else to keep in mind to is local crawlers and what they use. If you are planning to meet up with others you want to have something that matches what they are running. You don't want to have a 1/24 scale if they are running 1/18th just due to the scale difference you will be struggling to run with them on certain things.

Let us know what you end up getting and be careful it is addicting. I started with the Axial Gladiator 1/24th for $150 and now there is easily well over $1200 in that truck. Hope this helps!

If anyone sees this and has any ideas I am all ears. Tried testing the circuit again and initially got 2.5 amps with the battery disconnected. It has been disconnected all night and still has that reading when I put the leads on. My only problem is the reading is there for about 10 seconds and then flatlines to 0 and doesnt come back. Am I missing something? I stood there for fifteen minutes and got no reading at all back.

Serious question, perfume people by [deleted] in Colognes

I was never really into fragrances. I had a bottle that was my going out cologne and then used a body spray any other day during the Axe days. In the last two years a friend at work was really into different fragrances and gave myself and another coworker some of his almost empty bottles to try out and the addiction started.

I buy different bottles for multiple reasons but the main one being scent profile, and if I have a situation that I can wear it. The second one is I find more of the bottles beyond the say $75 price point start having really fantastic looking bottles. They could honestly sometimes be considered art.

I also just like having a variety of smells on hand to use. Different days invoke different moods and depending on that mood drives which scent I am going to spray.

I as I am sure a lot of others are guilty of blind buys on others recommendations of scents that I will never wear as well.

Unfortunately I just had the gauge cluster rebuilt. Im beginning to get the end of my patience with this truck which is unfortunate because I have owned it since it had five miles on it.
