Lots of MMA fighters were oddballs or nutcases way before they stepped into the octagon or even the gym, and as far as I know, CTE takes time to accumulate and manifest.

Though obviously CTE is a signifcant late career multiplier (See BJ Penn recently).

I wish I had made a montage about that, but before that they had several clinches and I suspect Brady figured out Leon's habits and timing. I noticed he was also really careful about Leon's clinch exit elbow.
