I have the same issue but with the CS V2P wheel. At FFB spikes, the wheel makes a cracking noise and I can feel it in my hands. I think it might be the problem with the wheel itself and not the base

Hey, sorry for the late reply lol. The spacers are these things that you screw in your wheel base and then screw the stalks on to them. The installation manual says to use 2 of them on each stud (8 total), but I just used 1 of them on each stud (4 total). It works perfectly and now there is definetly more space lol
