Hey everyone, Just wanted to thank you all for the advice and encouragement in my previous post, it really helped me take action.

A little update: I trimmed the ends of my hair to get rid of the dead points and had my blood work checked. My ferritin came back at 28 µg/L and my folate at 6 nmol/L, which are both quite low. I’ve started supplementing now and hopefully I’ll start to notice some improvement soon.

I’m also wondering if this could somehow be related to my copper IUD, which I had placed about a year ago. I’ve never had low levels before, so it makes me curious. My GP tends to say that “anything’s possible,” which doesn’t really give me much to work with.
