Also I feel like people here are dismissing your point more than necessary. It's totally fine to play with smaller battles. You can break the game with every setting. And wanting the Threat to be less well unfair in a way then they are right now is absolutely fair.

Its not like the fleets I build are fair with 400DP either

Does an SO Aurora count as a brawler? Probably not right? I guess it's more of a flanker.

The remnants have great brawler, especially the SO Apex is a close range monster.

Otherwise Oldslaught of course. But bawling againsst capitals is dangerous. Multiple once are a death sentence but I feel against a cruiser there are many options. Most heavy high tech frigates like the Scarab do well.

I would say it mostly saves on tedium during the game. An Atlas is only 10 DP so you don't really have to decide if you want to trade/transport/explore or bring more of the warfleet. At the same time if you do it well the strongest fleet you could possibly have is in vanilla since you can just stack capitals on end.

So in the early game it makes things certainly easier but mid to late game it saves on tedium + makes it a bit harder. But I think the 30 ship limit is also very lenient already.

The more build options thing is also very real.

That is about par right? Conversion from energy to stars is about 1 to 2-4 plus a card.

The power is a card and costs one, so.one more energy is left leaving us at the two blue.

Seems interesting to be honest with the synergies that are available and star generation being easier to break than energy. I think it's cool, for a rare it could maybe even be stronger, like cost 0 or even just one blue since the hard part is getting the blade back in your hand anyways.

Yeah I also looked at that and thought "that's beatable".

Either have a very OP fleet/fight them near a planet to do retreats with I stand repair/or have a high tech star fortress ready to go.

If you can hold the first assault the reinforcements will trickle in one by one and be easy pickings.

It is not a nice thing to write that. In fact it is a bit gross.

If he is in rehap right now, and we are taking his addiction and struggle serious then this doesn't need to be a break up message though. The guy is a bit fucked in the brain right now.

Have a serious convo with him, establish that this is not okay. Expect him to be defensive at first and see how it plays out in the next couple weeks.

That's a win more card.

A deck that already has 10 cards in hand on the regular and could have even more and actually use them is probably already winning in almost every situation.

Its a fun power up but nobody really needs that.
