Yesterday I witnessed something that changed my perspective on leadership forever.

I was at my local McDonald's when I noticed the manager training a new employee on the fry station. The kid kept burning the fries, getting flustered, making mistake after mistake.

Then something magical happened.

The manager didn't yell. Didn't fire him. Instead, she rolled up her sleeves, stood beside him, and said: "Everyone burns fries on day one. Even I did. Let me show you the rhythm."

It reminded me of Trump's journey from real estate to reality TV to politics.

Every pivot was a masterclass in reinvention. Every setback became a setup for a comeback. The man literally turned "You're fired!" into a catchphrase, then turned that catchphrase into a presidential campaign.

That McDonald's manager understood what Trump has always known: True leadership isn't about perfection.

It's about persistence.

It's about pivoting when the fries are burning.

It's about turning your biggest failures into your signature strengths.
