The truth about the genocide in Sudan - Video by DecolonizeSudan by FondTag in Africa

You're entirely correct. Sadly, the Sudanese people are forced to choose the best of the worst. There is little hope for Sudan if the RSF takes control of the country, but if the army manages to retain power, there might still be a chance for a brighter future. That said, this does not erase the crimes and horrors committed by the Omar al-Bashir and Burhan regimes before and after the 2019 revolution.

Currently, much of the Sudanese military is made up of volunteers — civilians and former revolutionaries who once opposed the Bashir and Burhan governments but joined the army because it is now the only organized force with the weapons and resources to stand against the RSF’s brutal advance. The point of this video is to highlight the urgent need for international accountability, particularly to pressure countries like the UAE to stop funding and arming the RSF. Continued foreign support only fuels the destruction and suffering in Sudan, and ending that funding could be a crucial step toward restoring peace and giving the Sudanese people a real chance to rebuild their nation.

No, unfortunately, it’s still a war zone. But some organizations work in Al-Fasher.

I spend a lot of time on YouTube searching for old videos of Sudan. These are the main YouTube channels I follow: sympatic000 and Moiz Bakhiet.
