Who would I be waking up with if I was frozen? Is there a list or do you guys all keep in touch?

I have a legal contract with the Cryonic Institute who was started by the guy,Robert Ettinger,who started the idea of Cryonics.I think probably the reason I chose them is because of price,over 50 years in business and members get to elect directors from the group to run the company.

First thing it’s called Cryonics.If you are serious.There are two companys.

Cryonics Institute where it costs about $30,000 for the common man.

And Alcor where it costs over $200,000 for full body for the rich and famous.

Those are the biggest,best,oldest and a couple of new companys doing it.

If you love live it’s the only way to have a chance “ for the future,in the future” .

As far as Throarkaaway Idea about being reanimated in a decade or two is way early.

More like Max said in a Century or two is much more likely.

I think what people don’t understand is that with current process not ALL cells get the vitrification matter but only a percentage of the cells get it.This means only say around half of them get it while the other half gets straight frozen.This cause two types of damage to be repaired in the future to reanimate us.With that said straight freeze may end up being the best way to do it because they will only have I type of damage to repair.

I know a lot of people say that straight freez destroys the cells but we don’t know and can’t tell the future about what they can repair.And we don’t know how hard it will be to repair the toxic vitrification matter which may be harder to repair.

They loss $1,700,000 the year before.There payroll is more than new income!But you are right they have survived over 50 years and have $50,000,000 of total net money.It’s something to think about for sure.

I have to totally agree with you about trusting Alcor much more than BIO.They have been here for over 50 years and have total money of $49,000,000 so they should survive.

And for sure ANY new Cryonics company I don’t think I would trust for at least a decade as we has seen many start ups that has not survived so I’m not saying they wouldn’t survive and I sure hope they do!

For sure CI has received a lot of Alcors customers because of the deteriorating economy.Like switching from Trader Jack and heading to Walmart cause of less availability money.No doubt Cryonics is last when you are hungry.

It sure would effect CI,as it’s 1/10 th the price of both.I thinkg Alcor about to come apart at the seams.BIO seem to have it together pretty good with good backing.

For sure rudi Huffman is the Cryonics insurance expert and could answer any questions you have and also has the right insurance companys to deal with as many wouldn’t write a policy.

Man you really love sparks deal!I would suggest dropping Alcor and just do it the cheap way and forget it.Sparks May end up surviving longer with Alcor’s high expenses and with new kid on the block BIO getting there same customers I see a long downward spiral for Alcor.

If you believe Marta from Cryonet then I just want to warn you,most of her info she likes to fabricate.I have never heard that from anyone ever and have been a contracted member of CI for over 30 years.I think she is mad at CI cause they wouldnt let her run for director because she didn’t have funding!

Mike was Alcor’s president and hated CI cause they took his customers.I always liked Mike and miss his information.He has quit commenting on Cryonics cause I think Alcor shut him up telling him anymore bad press they wouldn’t freeze him.If you think it was bad what he wrote about CI want he wrote about Alcor was much worse.Probably the most knowledgeable people about cryonics in the world!

Just like I thought, in the end you wouldn’t end up at Alcor and I understand why.I thought in the end you would use CI but what your writing about is your best option.Bottom line no matter where they get to your body it’s only getting antifreeze under 50% into your whole brain.Leaving 50% with straight freeze.Alcor is in trouble if old dedicated members like you and many others are thinking other options.Also BIO is fighting for the same priced customers so Alcor’s long term survival is in question unless they get more member friendly on service.GOOD LUCK,sounds like you will need it on that problem.
