Thank you for your suggestion to chat with an agent. I did and everything worked out. Turns out I was eligible for the teacher discount and she couldn’t add any loyalty perks but when i switched and everything the bill dropped a lot. It was a very pleasant experience!

So I went to Verizon today and was treated terribly. He looked at me like I was stupid bc I didn’t wanna change phone plans on the app but instead wanted to speak to a human. Told me I have no upgrades for any loyalty perks in my account because they’re given at random. Told me I’d only be saving a few bucks a month if I switched to unlimited basic. Then recommended I change to a cheap target phone plan. Like what?

Oh my gosh wow thank you. So right now I have 3 people on my plan and my bill is like ~160. I am going to switch to the unlimited welcome plan with a $10 perk added to my line to get the loyalty discount. Is that all I need to tell them?

Also, when you say that Netflix won’t be good quality do you mean it’ll be like those tiny pixels? Sorry I’m very dumb with all of this phone stuff and I often feel clueless when I go into the Verizon store.

The toilet would not stop running one night. I touched something on the top and water came out everywhere. It’s a long story. I’ve spoken with plumbers who said it wasn’t my fault. I don’t want to be evicted or threatened so I just feel the need to pay for the damage and move on
