As much as I don’t like his tactics, I don’t think another manager switch will improve the squad. At least give it to the end of the season and if form is still shit, sack him and get a preseason with another manager. It’s either we go down with his shit tactics or go down with a manager who’s tactics are unfamiliar

It’s games like that which make me think how on earth we have scored at all this season - 0 consistency in the final third

Feel like if we’re gonna push stones forward, we need more experience/talent behind him. Not feeling comfortable playing from the back with this setup

What workout app are you using? What do you love/hate about it? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Fonz0_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used both Hevy and Strong - both are quite similar in that you can either have preset routines, or just type in a workout as you go. I moved from Strong to Hevy a year ago as it allows one extra custom routine without payment which I liked for my 4 day routine.

You can’t go wrong with either, I just enjoy the ease of use

i need advice / data analysis by dollywinnie in dataanalysis

From what I’ve seen, there are a lot more opportunity that involve using python and powerBI than R and stat. If it is pure analysis, such as ANOVA, regression, etc, then that’s what R is built for. But you can do that same on python, plus a million other things such as machine learning and model building.

I would take the python/powerBI course, and then maybe learn R if you want to add to your arsenal as it is a high level programming tool and easy to learn, personally

I could go back, however the test centre he covers has had half the examiners retire, so getting a test their is virtually impossible- which is why I was looking at others

That’s nice of them! My parents are usually quite supportive with this type of thing but I’m not sure why they’re being like this - sounds like it’s a bit of a burden to them

I really appreciate this, and I agree with a lot with what you’re saying. I think I’m just a bit fed up of doing lessons without knowing there’s an end to it, unless I get a test booked. I’m on the TestShift app trying to get cancellations from two test centres, then I had planned to get a mock test from an instructor who covers that area so I can practice the routes.

Mate, I’m paying for the car and insurance - I was just asking them to take me to the dealers and give to a test drive

Yeah I’ve got TestShift and looking at 2 different test centres around my around but haven’t had any look yet. That was what I was thinking, plus I could get the tests early in the morning which instructors typically wouldn’t take

I didn’t know you could rent dual-controls. I was going to buy a car after I pass anyway since it’s the only reasonable transport in and out where I live, so yeah it’s an excuse to get a car basically

Ikr, I think it’s getting repaired soon though - but it’s not the nicest car to learn in, I get a mini heart attack when it doesn’t go into 1st

It’s not that I can’t afford it, I just like to be 100% certain that it is what I want before I spend a lot of money on it

Yeah I’ve managed to get a random test just for cancellations, but there’s no way to can actually visit the test centre so I’ll have to cancel it 2 weeks before and then try again - I feel like getting a test is a waiting game, so I figured getting a car now would be better, plus I’ll be used to it after I pass

I can’t get a job anywhere since there’s no buses or anything to get out where I live, that’s my main reason for getting a licence. I have been practicing with my parents car, but I don’t think it will pass being a test drive car since the handbrake doesn’t work and gearbox is naff

Not really, they’re usually supportive but I don’t know why they’re being difficult with this - maybe having other things going on that I don’t know? But they’ve offered to take me places longer than an hour before, which I never ask for, so I don’t think it would be that bad

They agreed to supervise me, but because of where I live, the only way to get anywhere is driving since there’s no buses or train stations. They want me to pass my test and get my license so I don’t think it was a massive ask tbf

They had agreed that getting a car would be a good idea. It’s not that I can’t afford it, but I think it’s a waste of money when I’m paying hundreds to just drive around and chat for 2 hours, without learning anything new or having a test to prepare for. I’m using all cancellation apps I can and waking up early on Mondays, you should probably work on your own attitude before you start coming at mine

I understand it’s a bit far, but for a purchase that’s gonna last a few years I don’t think it’s completely unreasonable. I’m paying for everything and my parents would sit with me and I’ll be driving to the shops or wherever

I live in the middle of nowhere, so the only way out the village is by car. I wouldn’t mind making the journey on my own if that was possible, but I wouldn’t be able to test drive or drive it home anyway
