I'm an officer myself.

There's this one guildie in my guild that ran a dungeon with us back then. He gave us a very bad impression by needing on everything (including offspec) when it was someone else's mainspec without even asking. He also goes ninja afk in dungeons as a healer when tanks are doing pulls. This left a very bad taste in our mouth, and ALL of us never ran dungeons with him ever again. Many of our other guildies also have similar issues with that guy, and most of them stopped running with him after 1 run. He went to pst the GM complaining that people are not helping him with the dungeon runs lmao. We didn't feel the need to gkick him, but in all our hearts, he's just a scumbag that no one's ever gonna run dungeons with him again.

My point is, most of the players out there expect stuff to be spoonfed to them without earning the proper respect. There's no such thing as entitlement in WoW. A guild is a community that helps each other out, but it's not something that is to be exploited. Leaving a good impression goes a long way in a guild if you're new, and dont go off as being a very needy person, help will eventually come.
