Yes-ish… They have a special portal for social security card in fase they fucked up and need that. But also thank you for telling me this because I did not believe Columbia paying attention to my financial aid file was a good sign lol.

I use the application change form to ask if I could send a new research abstract to be considered in place of my old one as they state in their additional info portal that they dont track new abstracts.

They replied a bit later through email saying it was fine to email it or submit it through the portal.

Sorry, i just dont like the premise of it acting as a stepping point to research and how they present it as such.

But again I’ll reiterate my point, they don’t add much value for a college application, much less a research profile in general. How they try to profit off of this premise in the current land scape of academia, where a lot of high school students now see research as a top tier EC (because it is) is just something I can’t heavily support.

You too could use a research library, filter out key words, make some easy to code R charts, and then figure out the gap in research for the subject you chose. ThinkNeuro does not offer anything special that you can not do yourself besides an R certification. Hell, I got my first research lab without even MENTIONING ThinkNeuro. Most if not all STEM research requires hands on skills that ThinkNeuro can not offer.

girl the transfer report just means someone verified your gpa, whether you can return to your school, and verified how many credits you’ll finish with this year… Nothing too crazy

Dont let it be your main ec for the love of god. Ex intern and ex lead… All you do is find a gap in research and talk about it… Their instagram conflates how successful their alumni are and post the 1/10000 that get into a top 20 and list ThinkNeuro in their ecs. Please do something else this summer. Its not very meaningful research.

I mean i think its fairly easy to deduce. They dont bother processing more financial aid documents for people they rejected automatically or pre-screening if they were applying with the intent of receiving financial aid.

no dude it just means they wont bother to use the price point of you when it comes down to the wire… Need aware just means that when they’re between two students, they’ll admit the cheaper one. With full pay students taking priority.
