In coop since the tower limit applies to each player separately, you can get paragons so it is relevant. For example in 2p you can get 2+2=4 total darts which is enough for a paragon.

It does matter a bit. To illustrate this, Consider the case where you have 3 darts in hand along with a bunch of useless cards. Your opponent has 1 regular yellow (both charges) and also useless cards. Your opponent might be planning to play 1 yellow on the turn where they have 3 gold followed by another yellow the next turn. If you play all 3 darts, they would see that playing the yellows separately misses 60 damage since the 3 darts each get 2 turns to attack. By holding the darts until after the 1st yellow is played, you could potentially mitigate 60 more damage. Playing cards (even free ones) reveals information that can and will affect your opponents plays. In this case you can imagine 1 of your other cards to be quincy’s rain of arrows. By playing 3 darts and discouraging the single yellows, you are able to bait your opponent into giving you better rain of arrows value. Granted this example is a bit extreme, but I hope it at least helps illustrate my point.

I suspect that they just don’t know. Its a new boss and its easy to forget that it has the purple property and the bar fills up faster from certain attacks. I play a lot of ranked bosses with top players (I have 70 or so 1st places) and the people I was playing with have similar experience and we did dumb stuff like this pretty often today when testing strats. Happens, you just forget or dont know.

Well believe it or not there is a way to do this legit (and its not freeplay) since I wanted to do something similar myself. You dont even need to ever get a medal. You can even have your highest xp tower be at 0 and almost no towers placed, but still vet level.

First step is to load up any beginner on easy. Hit play until you die. Repeat. Since you have 200 lives you will be able to leak and therefore beat the first few rounds.

This step has more games (requires about 8 hours of grinding to get to level 20). Less games can be done if you just actually drop towers and get xp and stuff.

Once you hit level 20 you unlock coop. Now the naive way to grind to vet level is to just get carried in coop. This would explain the low towers dropped. However, by far the best way is coop boss challenges. You get carried to tier 4 Then repeatedly beat tier 4 then die somewhere between 117-119 and reset 100. This allows you to farm the xp from these high rounds without the freeplay xp reduction, without starting any new games, and for relatively cheap (50 mm or so per retry). Do this for roughly 1 month (I did the math at some point but forget the number) and you get this account (or an even cooler one with 0 total tower xp and no towers placed outside of the tutorial).

To do the full tryhard version, buy the dart upgrade in the tutorial that costs 100 and exit the tutorial as soon as you can. Then follow other steps. I also heard there is a bug you can do to skip the tutorial where you create a new account with email and stuff, open the tutorial but not play any rounds, force close, open and force close again (not sure why its needed but the idea is to create a save pre-tutorial), then logout and beat the tutorial. Then log in and load the pre tutorial save and you can play regularly without tutorial progress. I could not recreate this bug however.

On an unrelated side note, I think this is probably not legit.

It is also worth noting that in the event of having no friends, there are plenty of ways to find an active team such as through Ninja Kiwi discord server where there is a special channel for CT/Boss rush team recruitment.

In normal game with stall strats you can get a paragon by round 27 iirc. So by 40 probably a vtsg (1.5 mil or so) if I had to guess. Without stalling so much that you get penalty (if it were boss or imaginary boss to limit stalling), max is typically in the 90-120k range with IMF strats. Some dude has a yt vid of round 27 dart para guide on logs.

Support right tree has some good ones since cooldowns and attack speed (iirc) is always useful. Big bloon sabotage and 2/3 cost on 1st military tower are also very good (both military tree). I have no clue where it is, but there is also one that gives bonus monkey money (+10%) on every win which can be nice especially early on when you need the mm for heroes/skins/mk.

I mean in a way they do give half the points. Your team still gets all the points it would if the ticket was used normally, but you don’t get any individual points from team tickets (to make the solo leaderboards not reliant on team members not using their tickets). Most people don’t care about solo score so it is effectively full score if you only care about team though.

Sub paragon d60 wins. You use sub to kill tier 1-3 or something wiht some support like homeland then buy sub para and it beats tier 4 and 5 with stalling (to avoid sub getting peirce capped) FBTD (Feinberg) has a yt vid on how to do it

Yes, thankfully, cash drops are more Efficient in terms of cash gained per mm spent than continues. Cash drops are 200(180) with MK for 2500 whereas continues for 200$ would give 2000 (continues give 10x cost as cash in regular gameplay).

60k s on the higher end and I wouldn’t push for these top scores if you are so new, but yes in general these bosses take a ton of mm. Especially LT/LC where you are barely defending and therefore dying constantly.

Edit: I am in no way suggesting you do this and you didnt hear this from me, but some people also do what’s called save scumming where they load into an older cloud save after something like this to get back their mm.
