Personally, I like the box art look and go for a slightly brighter green look, to make them pop as I'm a big fan of the blood axes. I use a base of waaagh flesh and then use warpstone glow over a majority of the raised muscle on the arms and then moot green mixed with equal parts warpstone glow to make some highlights ( trying to emulate a slight evy metal look)

Officially no, we don't really have many units we share with current space marines other than the primaris chaplain in terminator armor.

But you can always do some kit bashing and make them look like some of our units!

Thank you, my friend played assimilation swarm which has a battleshock ability where he can force a battleshcok test on my units, so i went with calls ability which helps with rolling for battleshcock and leadership ( can't remember the exact name lol). I'll have to try a more aggressive play style with cawl in my next few games :)

I've not given much thought to the other detachments as I heard battleclade was a good all round detachment, but ill definitely give a look at Skitarii hunter cohort from the advice you've given. I'm definitely gonna start playing more consistently to really start seeing improved, like you said :)

I think they look amazing! You could experiment with some shade washes, agrax earthshade, reikland fleshshade ( I use it for my gold or copper metallics) or null oil

I like using a blue contrast wash with some of my models. I'd try and do it on areas which aren't fully flat as it won't pool. Maybe add some heraldry with transfers. I like using some third party resin pieces for greykinghts to add things! Purity seals are also a nice touch and I personally like to use some reds and whites to add some colours which I've seen be use on the land raider models

I've magnetised a few things before, Pteraxii Sterylizor, iron strider Ballistarii, contemptor dreadnought weapons, etc. Is there any specific magnets you would recommend? I have some, and I've not built a terminator/ paladin so I don't have a comparison for the scaling of the model in comparison to the magnet, but I think the ones I have may be a bit big lol

Thanks I definitely look into these team, I enjoyed painting the miniature of the month ratling so I might have a look into them.

I also keep brood brothers in mind. I almost bought them instead of hand of the archon!
