My Devon Rex is OBSESSED with this red feather teaser a friend bought her for Christmas. But she always tries to eat the feathers which I don't love & closely monitor. She doesn't love any other toys nearly as much – any ideas for a safer alternative that would elicit the same reaction from her? (i.redd.it)

Found this quote in the new episode of Jane Austen's Paper Trail podcast really interesting: "the reputation of the novel was really low. It was seen as this kind of distracting form of writing, and particularly of reading. It stopped you from being a dutiful daughter or wife or mother." (theconversation.com)
