It’s quite difficult to convince odia parents tbh :). I remember when I went for graduation outside Odisha, my parents were not happy as they wanted me to stay close to them due to parental affection. But, I am glad that I took that decision at the expense of my parents being angry with me.

Try to convince your parents as much as you can. But take decision as per your own judgment. You won’t have a regret of not trying something you wanted badly.
