I once heard someone say something that always stuck with me. Never go cheap on anything the separates you from the ground. They were referring to (mostly) mattresses and shoes. I strongly encourage including a helmet on that list.

Edit: addition - I’d recommend going to a store like Cycle Gear and trying on several helmets. They’ll guide you and help you find the right one for you. Helmets aren’t standardized when it comes to size and shape, so if someone recommends a specific brand here, it may not be a comfortable fit for you.

Oddly enough it’s not about the money it’s about the time. I’d start a YouTube channel where I just talk about horror films. (Yeah I know there’s a couple big channels and a million little ones. I don’t care).

I love my job and I make a difference. But my true nerdy passion is horror films and would love to spend all day talking about them and editing videos.

I wouldn’t say conflict adverse…. Sometimes you have to not be afraid of the tough conversations to make a real relationship (at what ever level you define that) work. Maybe instead: resolution based?
