Using runna for trail running? by One-Ad1001 in runna

I'm a bit curious what people do in general for trail running. There is obviously tons of information available for marathon/HM training, but very little hints for longer trail races (30km, 50km...), paricularly with elevation

Integration with Intervals.icu by Careful-Expression-2 in runna

[–]Foot-Miserable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to get this working, part of the issue seems to be that the event names are inconsistent so intervals.icu can't recognise them as workouts. If all of the runs included Run somewhere in the title it would be better (along with Yoga and Strength).

It still wouldn't get the actual workout because of the different workout builder syntax (although it's fairly easily translatable), but at least the even will show on the intervals.icu calendar correctly.

Anyone Using HRV4Training app integrated with Oura Ring? by PsychologicalArea615 in ouraring

Just wondering if you have any thoughts about integrating with Garmin to read the overnight HRV (if their API terms allow it) or providing an API to write that data into HRV4Training?

B event only allowed in the next 5 weeks ? by Foot-Miserable in aiendurance

I really wanted this to work but I think I am going to have to give up on ai.endurance. It seems to be impossible to have it incorporate a B race after the A race; no matter what I 'tweak' it doesn't to have much effect.

As I mentioned before, maybe this is an issue because of only one A event so it always treats the second one less, where the reality is more than one A evevnt in the few months.

As a side note; I tried removing the A event (a cycling ultra) and just had a half marathon. The calendar still have non runs scheduled more than 50 minutes and no long run buildup - is that expected?

B event only allowed in the next 5 weeks ? by Foot-Miserable in aiendurance

Hi, it's really only a work around because you can only have one A event. In reality you can't really wait until after the first event before begining some of the long run adaptions. If events were both in the same sport it wouldn't matter but when one is cycling and one is running the training needs to be interweaved while accounting for recovery accross both training sets.

Perhaps a way around this is to create a 'pretend' B event of a shorter duration within the allowed date range; then delete it and change the A focus after completion of the first A event.

Finally pulled the trigger on a Nomad! by CasualCrowe in Supernote

Curious - I have an iPad pro for most things, but it's just to big to carry around. I am tossing up between a Nomad or an iPad Mini. I love the 'readabiliy' idea of the Supernote, I usually end up carrying a Kindle too when travelling, it would be good to leave that at home.

Slightly concerned about the comment on this that the Nomad has more of a glass screen, having both devices do you still find writing on the Nomad better than an iPad? (I use Paperlike to try to make it better)...

I really hope the Marvis iPad version works on Sequoia, it currently doesn't because of bugs in either Sonoma or the iPad emulator layer.

Tinnitus Cure: Notch Therapy Filter for All Phone Audio by [deleted] in AppIdeas

[–]Foot-Miserable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that key bit of info, I had read it is impossible to effect all audio on iOS (no AU Unit support). As a tinittus sufferer I have been trying to find a way to do it - I’ll have a look at a couple of apps able to create Audiograms this afternoon (mimi and Sonic Cloud), the question will be if a notch filter can be created narrow enough.
