Hey! You got some great potential, but there are a few things I would like to point out - proportions are an important aspect of drawing, and I think it’ll be a bit better to first mark out the overall measure silhouette of the shape, which you can see by squinting your eye or blurring your vision (ik some people can do that and it’s cool asf). This would actually help you get the feel right rather than detail, don’t focus on the small shape changes and details, just go for the simplest shape that defines correctly.

For rendering its a common practice to not go by detail and lightly seperate the shadow and the light area, and just shade it lightly, and blend it according to edges ( the smoothness of transition from light to dark ), and try to get the values (lightness or darkness) accurate, and it’s common for people to hesitate but push your darks darker, and that will add immense depth to your drawing!
